We (my husband and I and dog) agreed upon a rate with North Coast Inn & Chalets, Washburn, WI, got the keys, and moved in. The very next day, I got a phone call from the lady screaming at me and calling me a liar. Oh, and our dog’s urine is going to kill her grass and trees (my dog... More

This is really an old motel like the one's my parents took me to I the 60's. The bed was extremely comfortable and felt pretty new....must have been the newest furniture there. The adirondack chairs outside the rooms were nice but the view of Hwy 13 isn't great. This is about what I expected for the area and the price... More

Unique..unique..old yes..but unique. My son's family needed a last minute place to stay this last Friday as they were going to join us camping. The North Coast Inn & Chalet had one night available in their chalet setting. This is four units around a large common area that has tables, chairs, sofas, fireplace/stove, games, and unique decorations.$114 a night. It was... More

This is a slice of Old Wisconsin. Not only is the location great for exploring the area on foot bike or boat, the hosts are friendly and helpful. Rates are reasonable and the rooms are clean. whenever we go to this area, we stay in a variety of places, but after our last trip, we may be coming back to... More

My wife had made reservations for 3 nights. We never received email confirmation of these 3 nights. The next day I had cancelled the reservation by phone because we decided to be closer to our destination where we were celebrating our 15th Wedding Anniversary. I spoke to a man with a man with a foreign speaking voice and told him... More

It is not often I stay in a place where the majority of furnishings are older than those in my home, but that was the case here. However, this was not a bad thing. Upon entering the room, I was reminded of the rooms my family and I would stay in some 40 years ago. Everything was clean, the bed... More

I have stayed at North Coast Inn and Chalets on more than one occasion. The accommodations are average. I made reservations for 1 night in April for a night in July and specifically informed the owner when I made the reservation that it was only for 1 night. When we checked in the office was busy and I did not... More

We spent a weekend here in the chalets (A) with 9 people. The chalet was clean and the common area had ample seating with couches, chairs, tables, etc. Each corner room had one or two double beds, at least one room also had a pull out couch. Each room had it's own bathroom and kitchenette. Also a small table with... More

The rooms are old and dated, but everything was clean. Do note that the chalet rooms have full sized beds and not queens (this is listed on their site). There's nothing spectacular here and that's about par for the course in this general region. The owner was very nice and friendly which is always a good thing! My only "knock"... More

I just stayed there for the second time in two years. It may appear a bit run-down but it was clean and well prepared. They provided soap and shampoo and extra towels. All rooms have fridge and microwave and the wireless signal was strong even furthest from the office. I marked it "Very good because it is a good value... More
