We had been looking for a place to stay for the evening and found the price of the motel reasonable. The rooms are in great need for updating and a thorough cleaning. The check in staff was welcoming and accommodating. The motel is about a ten minute drive to Bayfield. My recommendation for the Inn would be to tear out... More

We came up for a wedding weekend in Bayfield. All the rooms were sold out in Bayfield. This hotel is 10-15mins away and has a cute small town feel and waterfront too. Used to be a super8. Decent, typical rooms. Nothing special, but just right. Staff were kind and smiley. We didn't attend the continental breakfast, but there were some... More

We stayed here with a large group in July. While the rooms were okay, it could use a good thorough cleaning. The price was right at this time so we didn't do any complaining. The bedding and hotel in general, could use updating, but the internet worked okay, people were friendly, and the location was fabulous. They have a limited... More

My friends and I stayed here for a night. Part of the group arrived at one time, the other part arrived at a different time. When the first part of the group arrived (including my husband and myself), the front desk girl was extremely nice. When the second part of our party arrived, there were two other people waiting in... More

We stayed at this hotel on July 4th. For $107.00 a night...it was way overpriced. There was no in room coffee, no iron, or ironing board. The beds were hard...pillows lumpy. As other reviewers have said...just a minimal breakfast. It was a good location, seemed to be reasonably clean, but I would NOT pay that much again for this hotel.... More

The room was basically clean and served it's purpose as a place to lie our heads for the night. It was much more affordable than anything in Bayfield. I didn't like not having coffee in the room and the coffee that was available in the lounge, was vending machine quality. The breakfast was very basic- toast, cereal & fruit. The... More

We have stayed a number of times at the (currently named) Inn at Washburn when we visit our kids. The property is older, has a lingering smoke odor (even though it says it is a non-smoking property) and suffers from serious deferred maintenance. As Utellme716 says, the bed sheets are the thinnest we have ever experienced which does not add... More

The room was clean. The woman working the desk was very friendly and helpful. The bedsheets were very thin and need to be replaced. Coffee and juice in the front, cereal plus in the room beyond. Excellent location on Lake Superior!

We didn't have a reservation but were lucky to nab a cancellation (due to horrible weather) during the apple festival. The good sized room and bathroom were attractive, very clean, the two queen beds were comfortable, there were plenty of soft fluffy towels, a hair dryer, a nice big window, cable TV of course. There was no coffee in the... More

We stay there every nov for deer season. The staff is always pleasant and helpful I do not know what the rates are in summer but when we go I believe it is 69 a night. It is not a 4 star hotel but come on it is a super 8, my only complaint is the hot tub has not... More
