Had a birthday party for our grandson... not enough tables, chairs. were given 10 inch pizzia rounds as plates. someone put items near one of the ramps and we were told that they would move all the stuff on top of our clothing, gifts etc.. so we packed up and left, on the way out i stopped at the main... We stayed in the villa that sleeps 20 (villa 469) All in all, this was a nice lodge and the indoor water park was great for our family. We all enjoyed our getaway and would recommend to others. Some suggestions would be: 1.) Our villa was cold upon arrival (58 degrees) so turning up the heat before guests arrive would... More

Nice looking resort. Thin walls, up til all hours next to hockey team of young boys, evidently unsupervised. Main complaint is water and air temperature of water park was too cold. Much colder than Metropolis resort. Nice facilities, but hard to enjoy ourselves when cold all the time. Also came home with a rash.

Thank you for your review. Your comments were helpful in the resolution of a debate regarding operating temperatures in the waterpark. Effective March 4, 2011 pool temperatures will be maintained at 84 F, Spas at 102 F and the air temperature at 86 F. I believe these are the same temperatures which another resort mentioned in your review maintains. More

Every February we usually head to the Dells for a little waterpark fun with a group of friends and their kids, but this year we decided to try Three Bears Lodge again since we heard it was back open. Facilities: Definitely a lodge feel. Perfect size for those with kids (our daughter was 19mo. and she had a great time!)... More

We stayed in the hooded merganser condo. The condo was great. Very large and nicely decorated. They are seperate units so we did not have to worry about our kids being noisey. The water park was beautiful and not crowded. It is in a seperate building from the condos. We drove and parked in their ramp beside the door. The... More

TBR is a beautiful place. Unfortunately we left very dissapointed. Main desk staff were nice but so much for the rest of the place. Pub food and resaurant food nothing to write home about at all (same menu for both). We arrived Friday PM and let kids swim a bit and while they had a blast we were all affected... More

The room was nice. The hotel is beautiful. The Dinner Buffet was terrible. They also add a 18% gratuity on all parties over 7 people even if they are ordering the buffet. The pool smelled so strongly of chlorine that I could smell it outside the main hotel doors. All the kids got a rash. The staff was not rude... More

When we got there our beds were not made no soap in bathrooms, had one role of TP for a three day stay, and a T-shirt on top of the fan. When people finally came to make the beds they brought sheets in a bag in one hand and a beer in the other. The beds did not have a... More

ESPN was available in our room prior to the Rose Bowl game being televised. Then the TV went to paid programming during the game and resumed ESPN after the game. Staff suggested viewing the game in their bar... Not good with teenagers in our large family group. Disappointed in the water park hours check-in wasn't until 3:00 p.m. It closed... More

Traveled with a 2 and 6 yr old. First time staying at Three Bears. Loved it! The hotel was very clean and spacious. The room's bathtub was gleaming chrome! - since when does that happen anymore? Had an issue with in-room fridge not working when 1st checked in. Staff was wonderful! Within (literally!) 4 minutes of calling, the owner himself... More
