Met daughter,son in law and grandsons for youngest birthday and stayed the weekend. Rooms were very clean and well kept. Waterpark was nice, but was not crowded on Friday nite. The lifegaurds do need to watch the kids getting into the hot tube with food and drinks. Other than that visit was very good. Will return again.

Seems like there is a lack of direction and focus. While it is designed as a resort, on the week before Easter the water park is closed, the place seems deserted except for some meetings being hosted at the facility, and there is little to do. We recently stayed at the Three Bears Lodge. We were with a convention group. The rooms are very comfortable and quiet on our Thursday night stay. However on Friday night you could hear the kids running and jumping around above us. The water park doesn't open during the week. Only the weekends, thus the noise we heard on Friday night.... More

Too many issues to list them all, bottom line poorly managed. Staff were not trained, not informed, restaraunt staff was inattentive, management didn't care. Breakfast not available until 8am, coffee shop was out of coffee. Waterpark was over chlorinated, kids activities were postponed and finally cancelled.

Three Bears Lodge has everything a family could want for a quick getaway - close proximity to the Twin Cities, enough amenities to keep THREE teenagers occupied, an excellent on-site restaurant (and pub) and may I mention, clean?!!!
