The owners made me feel at home right from the moment I stepped onto their porch. A lovely decorated room with own bathroom. It was so quite, so relaxing to stay from the beginning of my short visit till I had to leave after having enjoyed a lovely breakfast prepared by Kay.MY only regret that I could NOT stay longer,... Despite being the only B&B in town, Alan and Kay were meticulous making our visit a warm experience from start to finish. We were served wine and cheese upon our arrival, given menus to all the local restaurants. Kay even called in our reservation when we decided on a spot to eat. Morning breakfasts were a highlight. Hot coffee was... More

My husband and I needed a quiet getaway for a few days, and picked Two Rivers, WI partly because of the Great Lakes history but also because the Red Forest B&B had such excellent reviews. We were delighted with the beautiful, well-maintained gracious turn-of-the-century home, our lovely room, the comfortable and welcoming common areas, but most of all with our... More

We spent two nights here in Mid October and I can't say enough about it. From the reservation process to check out and even after returning home I felt like we got the royal treatment. I reserved on line through the B&B website and received an email confirmation the next day. A few days later I received another confirmation .... More

We spent one night here on our drive around Lake Michigan. We were greeted with a wine and cheese get together which was very nice. Our room was comfortable and the breakfast was very good. We were given tips for a good restaurant, walking distance in downtown. There was some traffic noise and we couldn't get the tv in our... More

Our fall vacation this year, took us to the amazing Door Peninsula, in Wisconsin. If you don't know about the area, it's unique in the area. Cooler in summer, and warmer in winter than the places near it. From its early history, it was shrouded in curious legends, and the name, Door County....Door, is a translation, from the french, "gateway... More

This was our second time staying at this B&B in Two Rivers, WI. Both times was with two other couples who are dear friends ... 50th and 55th class reunions. The home is beautifully appointed, the breakfasts delicious and made even more enjoyable because of Kay who is a delightful hostess. There is no other place we would rather stay... More

Over many years of staying at B&B's around the world, I can say that Kay & Alan are two of the BEST B&B host's we've experienced. The room was very nice and the home inside was lovely. You could not only feel the care and pride that the owners took you experienced it in the great breakfasts, clean rooms and... More

We stayed in the tea party room one night on our way from Chicago to door county. The room was lovely, exactly as pictured. We had a private bath which is not always available at B and Bs so that's a huge plus. Nice wine and cheese shortly after arrival in the living room. Great conversation with the owner, Kay.... More

I have stayed at many B&B's throughout the country and the Red Forest rates as one of the best. Clean, comfortable, great food and a gracious host led me to book the next stay before I left. Thank you Kay for a great time!
