My family lives in Wisconsin and was looking for a hotel getaway far enough to be away from home but close enough to not spend more than a half day traveling. We found the website for the Village Inn and were impressed, so we booked. Catch phrases like, "nestled on the shores of Lake Michigan," and "well appointed rooms" as... More

I am very sorry to hear of your disappointment with our property. I apologize if you found the website misleading, but we do not hesitate to tell anyone who asks that the lake is across the road from our property. As there is nothing on the far side but the Mariner’s Trail and Lake Michigan, we do offer panoramic views... More

We stayed in the RV park, there is a hotel also on site. The sites are a bit close to one another, but not too bad. The park is clean and fairly quiet, would recommend staying in the back, away from the main road out front. You lose some views, but the quiet is worth it. Overall, just a nice... More

After a LONG day of packing and cleaning (I'm moving), I was supposed to drive from two rivers to Sheboygan. A heavy fog advisory moved in. I drove past the Village Inn and saw they had vacancies. On labor day weekend. I pulled in and sure enough they had rooms. The queen-accessible room I got had a microwave and refrigerator,... More

Felicia worked the Sunday night we were there, she was amazing! She ran the place but also was the bartender, she took good care of us, just when we thought of having another cocktail she was right there! I had a bunch of requests n questions and she remained kind and professional. She helped make our stay very comfortable. Also... More

We stated here last year and enjoyed our overnighter. Our family arrived via badger, stayed overnight before heading home. The kids really liked the miniature golf and one of them won the token for a free game. We stopped by this year to redeam it. We would have stayed here again but we really wanted a place that offered a... More

We stayed at the RV park that is located adjacent to this motel. The RV park is not much more than a parking spot with full hookups but is well located to visit the surrounding area. It has a great view of Lake Michigan which is just across lake shore drive. We used our passport America pass so the cost... More

Thank you for staying with us and taking time to review our park. Unfortunately, spring is very late coming to the lakeshore this year. While our sites could never be considered wooded, the park is much prettier after the trees have leafed out, and our view of the lake truly is the main attraction. I am sorry the neighbors dog... Deceptive whirlpool feature! The miniature golf is nice, come summer! Advice? Whirlpools should be hotter than swimming pools! Staff said it's usually "too hot for health department", at least last fall, found it way too cold as a hot tub, had to speak to manager.

I am very sorry our staff gave you excuses instead of answers. While our pool is kept at a very comfortable 85 degrees, you are correct that the whirlpool should be warmer. We did have some issues maintaining a 96 degree temp in the hot tub, but I can assure you that this has been remedied, and we are all... More

If you looked at other area hotels and weren't thrilled, this may be the place for you. A suite is the way to go - spacious, nice kitchen and table, full size refrigerator. The bathroom was large. The location is fantastic: right between Manitowoc and Two Rivers, across the street from the Mariner Trail for bikes, and across the street... More

My family and I spent almost 4 weeks in two different family suites at Village Inn. This place was well maintained and the staff was helpful and friendly. The kids loved the pool and the view of the lake was real nice. I was surprised when we moved in because I did not expect the family suite to have, 1... More
