Just back from 2 days/nights going up to, and back from Door County. Had two types of lake views, Partial view of sunset in rooms facing Manitowoc, straight ahead Lake Michigan in the other. As noted, window open was a beautiful serenade of crashing waves. The rooms were clean. Seemed to be updated from prior reviews. This is not a... more

We love to come back to this place; this is the best location and we enjoy sleeping with the windows open and having to fall asleep listening to the waves sound. We love the fact the place has great amenities, the hot tub, the pool, the bar and restaurant in the same building; it's always fun to be able to... more

We spent 2 nights in room 106 for $94.00/night. The room was large, the bathroom small. Our window faced the parking lot; cars were at eye level, so pay up for the lake view because the room itself was very mediocre. Mattress quality: very low - a firm, cheap mattress. Sheets were so worn they were pilled - like sleeping... more

We recently returned from our stay at Two Rivers. This is the first time we stayed at the Lighthouse Inn. The biggest advantage is being right by the Lake front. You can walk down to the beach in the morning, very quiet and relaxing. Only problem I found with that is there was no decent path to get down from... more

My fiance and I stayed at at the Lighthouse Inn for my birthday. We had a second-floor, lakeside room, with two queen beds. I would definitely recommend the lakeside rooms. We left the window open all night to listen to the waves. That was the best part of the room. The "parkside" rooms really face the parking lot and street,... more

I liked it.

The lake view is unsurpassed! I liked the charm of an older place. The pool room is partly paneled in old wood and I liked the old fashioned feel of it. The pool and hot tub were clean. The location is excellent. more

If you want a great location, this is the place! We booked a lakeside room on the second (top) floor overlooking Lake Michigan. It was a stormy night and we had a great view of the waves. The "parkside" rooms are a little cheaper, but they face the highway. Definitely get a lakeside room. Out the front door of the... more

We stayed at the Lighthouse Inn last weekend over Labor Day. The king lake view room was very nice - spacious and clean - with two rockers, an arm chair and a desk and chair. We also had a micro and refrigerator. The view of the lake was from the side and we could see Manitowoc in the distance -... more

I knew I was in for some problems when I booked a reservation several months ago in advance. I asked for a written confirmation to either be e-mailed or faxed to me. The lady told me since it was a weekend, she'd have to wait till Monday and have the Office Mgr send it to me. I never received a... more

My fiance and I decided to take a road trip into Wisconsin so we set out to our final destination of Two Rivers, WI. We called the hotel directly to see about available King rooms with a lake view. The woman we spoke with said there were plenty available so we didn't need to pre-book. Our drive was less than... more
