We just returned from the casino at Turtle Lake and would say that it is a better than average place to gamble in the north woods of Wisconsin. But if you want a nice place to stay on a lake or in a cottage, book that and only visit for the gambling. The machines are varied but several were "disabled"... More

This is the first time in probably 12-15 years since we have been to this hotel. Nothing has changed, except that it's old and extremely well worn. I hate to say it, but this hotel makes a Motel 6 look like the Ritz. The lobby is dated and the front desk resembles the front desk at a motel that you... More

All in on a Friday night.. $75. Very comparable to an outdated Motel 6. Front desk suggested going over to the casino to sign up for the players club card to save 15%. Of course I did and got $5 free slot play which led to me putting in my own $25. Ultimately their gimmick worked. I spent $25 to... More

This place is in walking distance and also has a shuttle. I have to say the rooms are not fancy but they are spotless. I hope someday they build a new Hotel onto the Casino maybe with a walkway. It would be nice on rainy or snowy days. All in all a decent place to stay!!

Arrived with a bus load of passengers, greeted by friendly staff, rooms were ready and clean. Hotel is in need of a complete make over. Carpet is old and dirty. Grounds around hotel need to be maintain as well. Breakfast was average as well. There is plenty of room to improve this hotel.

The women in my family have been going here on and off for over 14 years. I just want to say I'm getting more and more disappointed considering this hotel has not changed or updated their decor in all of that time. We try to go every February and last year was our last time we had been there. (Tried... More

I have been going to this casino for years, but last nite will probably be my last. I dont think I have ever seen the casino so FILTHY,& Understaffed by rude and unkept employees. We used to enjoy the prime rib sandwiches, however the snack bar was out of a lot of items (ice cream, their special of the day) not... More

The hotel is not attached to the casino, but it is next to it and there is a shuttle (it is walking distance when the weather is decent). The bed was the WORST hotel bed I have ever encountered- and that includes hotels in remote areas of India. It was so bad I actually considered sleeping on the floor instead.... More

The hotel is not attached to the casino! There is a shuttle that will pick you up and drop you off but that is not at all convenient. The rooms were very outdated, uncomfortable and small. We didn't even know that they had a breakfast! The staff were not at all friendly or helpful. The casino was small as we... More

This was an extremely uncomfortable room with no amenities. Small tv on desk, creaking uncomfortable chairs and the bed was like sleeping on a wooden floor with no cushion. The casino had tight slots, small and dark. We left there and went to Mille Lacs with the motel being more reasonable and felt like we went from a one star... More
