Decided to go across the state for a snowmobiling trip on short notice. Made the reservation not expecting much. From the outside it looks like any other small, dated motel. Once inside we were very impressed with how clean, neat and updated everything was. The beds are firm with good coverings and quality pillows. Even the towels are SUPER soft!... More

We loved our room. Very clean. The staff was extremely nice. Nice not having the trains come right by your room. The family running this little hotel is doing an excellent job! Keep up the hard work....your pride shows in your product.

We stayed here for 3 nights. Very large rooms. Very clean. Owners were very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back. Very close to Perrot State Park, Elmaro Winery, nice bike trails, and great restaurants (Sullivan's, Beedles Bar and Restaurant, Hungry Point, Trempealeau Hotel).

We were traveling down the Mississippi and decided to stop a this neat looking little motel rather than go on to the bigger chain places. We asked for a queen-sized bed and were given one at a reasonable price. When we asked if there was a chair or sofa so we could just sit and read, the owner offered us... More

We drove down from Minneapolis and just rolled into town and needed a hotel. This was actually the third one we tried and we got lucky with the last room. $65 was a price I was more than happy to pay and we unpacked. The Hotel is an older style motel with doors opening out into the parking lot but... More

My fishing group has been staying at this place (formerly Pleasant Knoll Inn) for almost 20 years for our spring fishing trip. We called, as usual, in February to make our yearly reservations and also called 2 weeks before our trip to confirm our reservations. When we arrived with our group and all our gear, the new owner told us... More

The motel is much nicer than it appears in the photos above. The accommodations were nice, and the new owners (they took over this week) went out of their way to make us happy. They even volunteered to drive us to a trail head to pick up our cars after our lengthy bike ride so we wouldn't have to double... More

My wife and I discovered this area almost twenty years ago and have been coming back almost annually since. (We are from St. Louis) The area has great scenery and fishing, lots of nice biking and walking trails and no pretentious tourist traps. The Pleasant Knoll is super clean with some very large rooms, a hot tub, a quiet and... More

My husband and I discovered Trempealeau, the nearby parks and Refuge, and the Pleasant Knoll Inn about 14 years ago. It has remained one of our favorite places to visit. Trempealeau is a small town on the banks of the Mississippi with no stop lights but 2 excellent restaurants. The Pleasant Knoll Inn is not a fancy place but it... More
