We were trying to make it to St. Paul, but after counting 18 cars in the ditch between Rockford and Tomah, we decided to find a place to spend the night. I remembered seeing this Lodge, as I don't think it's part of a chain. Luckily for us, the woman at the front desk gave us a good deal on... more

I was planning a trip home(Minneapolis) from Milwaukee with my 5 year old and 1 year old by myself and was looking for a half way point to stop and stay overnight so I didn't have to drive 5 hours straight by myself. I was looking for a hotel that had a waterpark type place like the dells but didn't... more

The Whitetail Suites should not be called suites. They are a regular room that happens to have a bathroom in the middle. Sink outside the bathroom so everyone's dirty hands touch the doorknob? Sheets were not clean. Toothpaste on couch. Kids loved the waterpark. Very spacious, plenty of room for everyone. Price a little high for the size of the... more

Thank you for the review. The housekeeping issues mentioned will be addressed and corrected. The room type mentioned was designed and is marketed as a corporate suite for one or two guests. This is our most economical room type and is less than ideal for a family as space is limited and there is only one bed and a futon.

Very nice pool area. Large hot tub. Continental breakfast was served during the Cranberry Fest...not sure if it is always available during the regular season, but it was very nice for a continental breakfast. The room was very large and adequate. Kind of pricey, but I think during the Cranberry Fest all the motels/hotels in the area, charge a little... more

Each year my girlfriends and I make the pilgrimage to Warrens for Cranfest. It seems like it's getting harder and hard to get decent lodging, but this year we stayed at the Cranberry Country Lodge! I loved the atmosphere. It really looks like a lodge! Sue at the desk is really frendly. Your bartender is a little slow, but I... more

My stay at the Cranberry lodge was among the best hotel/lodge stays. Upon walking in you are welcomed with a lounge that had large cozy leather chairs and a fireplace. The lodge and room was very clean it didn't have that "hotel" feel. There was plenty of room in the suite and it had two tv's what a plus. The... more

The rooms were decorated nicely, staff was helpful, location was good, but I awoke and thought I was in the Twilight Zone; tick,tick,tick,tick.... I dont know where the noise was coming from but it awoke me from a deep sleep and seemed very loud. Could hear every step, function the people upstairs were doing! We were on the second floor... more

I recently stayed at the Cranberry due to work. My stay was OK except for a few things. The only real issue that I had was part of the WiFi went down halfway through my stay. I needed it for work related projects. I mentioned it to the hotel staff everyday for 4 days, but they seemed unconcerned. This forced... more

During this guests stay a component of our wireless network failed and the wireless network was offline in part of the building for several days. Replacement parts took 3-4 days to arrive. During the outage high speed hardwired internet was available in this guests room as a backup as it is in all of our rooms. Additionally, the wireless network...

I stayed at the Cranberry Country Lodge for a family wedding. Their amenities were plentiful and great. Their service was awesome! The rooms are very nicely decorated and very clean. The waterpark within the hotel was fun and very nice swim/hot tub areas. I would definately recommend this to anyone needing a place to stay while traveling on business or... more
