I visited the Victoria Inn for my birthday weekend with my family. I would rate The Victoria Inn as first class, in every way. Upon our arrival, we were greeted very professionally and warmly. We were shown to our rooms (there were 6 of us) by a very polite young man who offered to carry our luggage. The rooms were... More

Visited with my boss last week as I had told her how good the food was, the food didn't disappoint as was very good as always. The lobster started was fantastic and the bisque amazing. Main and dessert also very good hence the 5 out of 5. However the service front of house was poor, disjointed and not professional at... More

We stayed for one night in Autumn 2015 with our 5 month old cockapoo. Very friendly reception team, took the puppy and lead us upstairs to our room. Room was a standard double, was a good size with a large double bed and a lovel Danish Design bed for the puppy next to ours, along with special treats and a... More

We had a table of 6 booked for a special occasion. Nice atmosphere and setting to the restaurant. Couldn't fault any course. Food was delicious, presented well like any top restaurant. Venison was to die for!! Not a cheap meal but worth a visit for a special occasion.

Fantastic afternoon night and morning. Calm, relaxed, laid back and very charming. A wonderful tonic to wash away the winter blues and herald a new decade! Don't have the woodcock... But highly recommend the black pudding scotch egg - it's brilliant! (And I'm no black pudding fan)... Full English was brilliantly satisfying too! 10 out of 10!

Attended a close friends 50th birthday party at The Victoria Inn at Holkham and stayed overnight in the Ancient House accommodation next door. From the moment we checked in till the moment we left our party of 15 guests were treated like royalty by the superb friendly staff. We were directed over to our room in the newly opened Ancient... Victoria Inn is part of the Halkham Hall Estate, home of the 8th Earl of Leicester and encompassing the stately home, agricultural enterprises and tenanted farms encompassing some 8,000 hectares. The estate has obviously spent a great deal of money creating the Inn as a very cosy country retreat with modern facilities in a traditional setting. The relaxing tone is... More

Enjoyed a delicious evening supper. Wonderful friendly welcome, made to feel genuinely at home. Accompanied by our two Clumber Spaniels. Starter and main course fresh, beautiful quality & delicious taste. There is a lovely homely atmosphere in the fire area which is where we ate. Service very friendly & approachable. We will be back, we've enjoyed lunch & now dinner/supper... More

The inn is in the perfect place for walking and exploring this fantastic area and nature reserve. If you don't fancy walking there are so many other interesting places to visit like Wells and Holt. The accommodation was very clean and the room comfortable and cosy. The breakfast was a great start to the day and included eggs Benedict which... More

We stayed in r11 in the ancient house which is the annex across the road, beautifully renovated and very spacious. Great base for exploring the beaches and Holkham estate. We had a delicious dinner and sampled the local seafood, great half lobster and halibut. Would recommend.
