We stayed here 2 nights on a girls adventure. I have stayed here several times in the past. The staff is very helpful and nice! Rooms are need to be updated. But, are very clean and spacious! Very nice continental breakfast. Conveniently located for shopping in Duluth and Superior. Plus very affordable!

There's a reason this place is cheaper. The hot tub wasn't even warm. there were cigarette burns in the quilt.....in a no smoking room. The breakfast was just ok.... reception at the desk made me feel as if we were a bother. Stayed here before but forgot these details. It is handy right off the bridge.

we stayed two nights in dec 2014, first the hotel shares a parking lot with a rowdy bar, so bar patrons are constantly coming and going in the hotels side of the parking lot, when they get into there cars they are hooting, hollering and revving up there load pickup trucks....second the hotel is very outdated and in need of... Thank you for your review. Many of our guests like our proximity to the Hammond Steak House. They have an excellent dinner menu and lounge. I'm sorry to hear that things were nosier than usual during your stay. I will pass on your comments to our neighbor. We have undertaken an extensive renovation of our rooms, but will continue to... I've stayed at Superior Inn numerous times, having made trips to Duluth/Superior well over 150 times over the years, mainly for shopping. The rates are excellent, you get an OK breakfast, a room with a fridge, a sauna, hot tub and pool. Often as low as 39 bucks for the room weekdays. There's a liquor store and restaurant across the... Hotels in Duluth-Superior area are very expensive, especially during the weekends. While I made the reservation prior to my visit, the lady on the phone quoted me higher than what it was on their own website and I had to remind her of that. Glad I checked their website first. I am not sure what they used to clean the... More

Thanks for staying with us earlier this month. I did want to follow up regarding your comment about the carpet. Did you have a chance to notify the staff? I hope that they offered to move you to a different room so that the housekeeping staff could take of any problems. Would appreciate it if you could contact me at... More

The Superior Inn shows its age and comes up short in key areas. The rooms are small, sparsely decorated, and generally feel damp. The beds are not comfortable and the free bkfst is lacking. The pool area is decent, but features one of the smallest hot tubs you will find. The location is good and the rates are affordable. It... More

This hotel was nothing fancy, but during tourist season this was an affordable option for the area. We were heading out fishing the following morning and the location allowed us to be fairly close to commute to the harbor/docking area for the fishing boats. The location as super easy to find right at the base of the bridge to/from Duluth.... More

The Superior Inn is in a handy location right at the foot of the High Bridge to Duluth and sharing a parking lot with historic restaurant and bar The Hammond. The price is affordable and beats driving home. A short walk to downtown Superior I am sure you'll enjoy your stay if you're down with bar hopping the infamous Tower... More

Three of my friends and myself stayed here in June for the Grandma's Marathon. It was really conveniently located, given that a shuttle bus picked runners up at the neighboring hotel. What I wasn't expecting, though, was that I would be awoken in the middle of the night MULTIPLE times due to people running around in the hallways (I assumed... More

Thank you for your comments. Grandma's Marathon weekend is very hectic, because of all of the activities scheduled for the runners and their friends and family. I know that you have to wake up very early to make it to the starting line in Two Harbors. I'm sorry if you were disturbed while trying to sleep. We try to make... More

Stayed Labor day weekend on Saturday, travelled to Apostile Islands and needed to stay one night near Duluth, all other places around were booked already. The hotel would be ok if I paid $60-70 but for $100 +tax it felt as a huge rip off. The room had a musty smell, floors felt wet, beds were very uncomfortable, hard, the... More
