My husband and I where here for a long weekend for our 3rd anniversary and my birthday. We have been at several B&B's along the Great Lakes- we love the area. Robin is amazing. Her breakfasts really are something- even with the hiking/biking adventures we went on we were full well into the afternoon. It was great to come back... More

After a stressful year and a first week of holidays that was tainted by head colds, my wife, our six months-old son and I spent a wonderful, restful time at Robin's Garden Gate B&B. She did a marvelous job in making us feel at home and being a grandmother herself, took such good care of our baby that we could... More

This was my husband and I's first trip to Door County. We were looking forward to a relaxing weekend full of great food, and the Garden Gate Bed and Breakfast exceeded our expectations! We stayed in the Lavender Room, which is very beautiful, and I miss the hot tub already. Robin was a great hostess and an amazing cook. If... More

My husband and I stayed at Garden Gate bed and breakfast for our first anniversary and we stayed in the English Lavender room. It was our first time at a bed and breakfast, so we didn't know what to expect. It was a wonderful room and the house was so welcoming. It is centrally located in the heart of door... More

Our two-night stay at Garden Gate was an excellent experience. With only four rooms Garden Gate is quiet. Best of all, however, is the outstanding breakfast. We had some type of apple dish that was the best. We give Garden Gate and innkeeper Robin two thumbs up. More

My husband and I stayed in the Garden Suite. Being avid gardeners, we enjoyed the garden theme of our room and the landscaping outside our B&B (including some unique looking pumpkins from a local farmer), as well as the local produce that our hostess, Robin, used in her wonderful breakfasts. For example, we learned that the strawberries and the potatoes... More

We had a wonderful time staying in the Lavendar room at the Garden Gate for our 14th wedding anniversary. Robin is a great host and feeds you well. Loved the little extras she provided for our enjoyment. (Movies, CD's, popcorn, soda, and especially the scrumptious cakes at night). She even surprised us with a chilling bottle of wine with heart... More

Robin was a very nice hostest with great cooking skills. We stayed two nights ane both breakfast were fantastic. We were able to wrap the muffin(s) to take with for our day travel. An added bonus was each evening there was a desert waiting upstairs for the guest. The house is located one block from downtown area. She loves to... More
