11 bedrooms, 8 LARGE beautifully elegant decorated suites that all have their own private Jacuzzi fireplace and bathroom. Eligible for the national historical registry is a valuable piece of Sturgeon Bay history built in 1880s by the original founder of the world famous Bayship building. See at www.pembrookeinn.com

Hosts are friendly, informed. Lovely rooms, nice amenities. Full cooked breakfast (not much for people who like low sugar, low fat though). The place needs a lot of work--like painting the veranda. And don't plan on using your computer or watching TV. The relatively recent (over 1 year) owners haven't gotten around to fixing that.

We stayed in the Carrisbrooke Room of this bed and breakfast. It was a charmingly old-fashioned room, but not too frou-frou. It had a large sitting area with bay windows. It also had some modern amenities which made the stay much more pleasant, including air-conditioning, a ceiling fan, and a two-person jacuzzi tub. The staff are extrememely helpful, and they...
