We stayed in Room 7, on the canal/harbor side. Small room but we didn't spend much time in it. Beautiful morning views and evening sunsets. The room was very clean and comfortable. Excellent value for the amenities and the proximity to jumping off into the rest of Door Co. Plus, a mile walk into town, short drive to lighthouse, personable... More

Truly one of the best kept secrets! I enjoyed the tranquil, peaceful and quaint setting. It was clean and the staff was friendly. We stayed in Room #8 . I wish I could have stayed forever. I recommend The Snug Harbor Inn to anyone looking for a relaxing and peaceful retreat.

My wife and I spent 3 nights at the Snug Harbor Inn and, contrary to some website posts, we found our room (room 10) to be very nicely appointed, clean and comfortable. The room was facing the bay and there were fire pits on the lakeside lawn and free wood available for making an evening fire. It was our 'home... More

Judging by the previous reviews, there seem to be two Snug Harbor Inns - one that is the absolute pits and one that shines. Well, all I can say about that is the pit's viewpoint doesn't match our experience. My companion and I stayed in Cabin Number One for seven nights, eight days and thought that the lodging was first... More

Me and my boyfriend stayed at sunset cliff cottage, it was VERY nice. It was very clean inside the cabin, nothing broke or went wrong during our stay. The pier is a little dirty, but the campfire and yard was very nice. The only real complaint I have is that its far from town. About a 20 min drive to... More

We booked an offsite cabin run by Snug Harbor called Sunset cliff. We were told we have private use of the pier. We especially liked that since we were bringing our border collie who loves to swim. Also planned to do some fishing. The place is no where near worth the price. Kitchen cabinets had door fronts falling off, some... More

I made a reservation foe May but had to move to August, no problem I was told. I checked in and found out several things not in the email confirmation. 1) there is a 3 night minimum during summer season. 2) the rate increased by $50.00 per night. 3) I was charged $10.00 to change my reservation. When I asked... More

Stayed in Suite 204. When we first walked in the A/C was off and the room was all musty smelling. We finally got it going and then it got too cold, even with turning the temp way down. Our girls really enjoyed staying in the lofted bedroom (they're 4 and thought it was too cool). It's not too fancy and... More

Shock and awe from the get go!!!. Our fishing party stayed in cottages 2 and 3 and also suite 201 that resembles the White House president's suite with its spacious suite with bed and adjactent whirlpool and upstairs 2nd bedroom to boot overlooking Sturgeon Bay!!!. In 2000 Memorial Day weekend I stayed here with my fishing guide Paul Prorok and... More

Mom and I took a girls' trip to Door County and we found this place via Trip Advisor. The reviews were right on, what a great little place. We stayed in Luxury Cottage 1 (not to be confused with 1A) which had a small kitchenette with a dishwasher, a living room with cable tv and a fireplace, two bedrooms and... More
