Whenever I visit Door County I always stay at Snug Harbor. I've rented their suites, their onsite cottages and their offsite cottages. Each has it's own precious luxury. The suites are wonderful, like a condo. The onsite cottages have a shared fire pit that is wonderful for having cocktails and chatting with other guests. The offsite cottages are spectacular. It's... 3 of us stayed here for 2 nights in May for a fishing trip, we rented cottage 3 next to the main hotel and right on the water. I've read some of the bad reviews and I've got to say that we didn't experience anything close to what those reviews said. Upon checking in, we were greeted by a very... More

The room was very clean and well stocked. I enjoyed my stay in the room very much and the view was spectacular. The only issue I had was in the restaurant. For dinner, my water glass was filled from a used water container that was not cold and was less than half full. I did not drink the water because... More

This hidden gem is a favorite spot for my husband and I! We love coming here - the room is cozy, the fireplace is wonderful, the whirlpool is huge, and the location is awesome! Plus they are dog-friendly, so that is a huge plus if we want to take along our pups. That is really hard to find in Door... More

We stayed for 4 nights over the July 4th weekend this year. We had one of the smaller hotel rooms on the 1st floor facing the bay. We enjoyed our stay - the accomodations were basic, but everything was clean and functional and more than adequate for our needs. The property is in a beautiful location with great views and... More

Agree with Victoria, wonderful location but the 3 cottages are poorly kept. Property was full of cigarette butts; old air conditioning units in windows; and our cottage reeked of Pine Sol. By the end of our week I had a horrible congested cough from the smell and probably mold. Plus there were hornets that obviously had made a nest in... More

We stayed at this hotel with my family. It was very family friendly and at a nice location, right on e water and close enough to town shops. The workers were very nice that we came across and it was a very clean and delightful place. I would definitely recommend this to anyone staying in sturgeon bay.

The only thing going for the Little Harbor "Port" Cottage is the location. The water and views are spectacular. That's about it. Very run down, terrible mattress, grill missing parts, no swing, one sofa bed, no other seating the living room. You get one roll of toilet paper - so if you use more you will have to go and... More

The pictures on the website are better than the site itself. It is located in town near traffic. The suite we stayed in was overpriced at $150 a night. The wind blew through the door and it was cold. The inside was clean, but rather drab. There was a coffee maker, but no coffee to make. The couch was dirty.

My Mom, myself and my 18 month old son stayed at Snug Harbor Inn in Cottage #3 for 4 days while staying door county this fall. We had a great experience with this family owned establishment. The cottage was clean and the staff were very helpfu. We arrived late at night and they waited up for us and left the... More
