I have stayed at Dreams of Yesteryear twice since January 1st, under very adverse circumstances (dying family member.) Bonnie and Bill are warm and gracious hosts who made the difficulties I was facing fade each time I entered the front door. Their house is gorgeous and incredibly clean. And they are both great cooks!

This was a second visit to this bed and breakfast. We would not stay anywhere else in Stevens Point. The home is beautiful and filled with period pieces. The home is meticulously maintained. My sister and I stayed a week and a half at this incredibly charming bed and breakfast. Bonnie and her husband Bill were always welcoming, and they were fun to talk to over a delicious breakfast each morning. The rooms were beautiful and meticulously clean. I could not possibly recommend this bed and breakfast more highly! We would never stay... More

Dreams of Yesteryear is a lovingly maintained grand old house with beautifully decorated rooms. The innkeeper, Bonnie, made us feel like guests in a friend's home. The house is clean and the breakfast was delicious. The location is quiet, yet within walking distance of the university and a number of cafes. This bed and breakfast is suitable for solo travelers,... More

Each year, my husband and I make our annual October driving combo trip through colorful falling leaves, always while listening to beautiful Linda Eder music, heading to the wonderful Birds In Art Show in Wausau, WI, and have always stayed at a Bed and Breakfast in nearby Merrill. For over 20 years we'd stayed at the same place in "our"... More

This was my first time at a B&B and I could not ask for any better of an experience. Bonnie and Bill are so welcoming. Breakfast was excellent - my husband is still talking about it. My husband surprised me with a weekend to Stevens Point to visit our daughter who is a freshman at UWSP- what a great surprise!... More

This was our first bed and breakfast experience and we were very impressed....and are now done with hotels whenever possible! Bonnie and Bill really know how to make a stranger feel like a friend. They answered our questions and explained the history of the home with enthusiasm, even though I am sure they have heard the questions a million times!... More

We stayed here back in October and had a very pleasant time. The house was comfortable and warm and we had excellent service. Amazing breakfast! It was in a good location that was near the downtown area.

Close enough for a short walk to downtown but far enough away for some quiet relaxation. Bonnie and Bill have made sure their home is a welcoming respite. A beautifully tended garden, neat as a pin housekeeping and a warm comforting breakfast will refuel your spirit. The river front path is near for access to some early morning exercise or... More

Attention to detail, authentic decor, lovely garden, welcoming and friendly. Very accommodating, exceptional breakfast. Gives the B&B experience a high mark. This beautiful property is perfect for a getaway, gathering of friends, wedding, travel stop or no other reason than enjoying the hugely comfy beds.
