I have stayed here a few times and continue to come back because it is in such a wonderful setting that it refreshes your soul. Some highlights are a wonderful pool, hot tub and sauna, great views of the golf course (I don't golf but it looks like an interesting and well maintained course) and the prairie style feel. An... This resort is an oasis in the middle of southwestern Wisconsin. We came in for one night to visit Taliesin. I didn't have any trouble with wifi in our room (313). From the resort, it is a very easy drive into Spring Green where there is plenty of small town character. We also appreciated the private, covered patio.

The rooms are fine, nothing special, nothing to criticize. The setting, on a golf course, is peaceful and scenic. It's also right next to the APT Theater and Taliesin. We walked back from the theater on night along a moonlit golf path. My only critique is that there is no WIFI in the rooms, which should be standard by now.... More

I had room A402 and it was bigger than my first apartment. As you enter, it seems like a regular hotel room, with a balcony overlooking the golf course. It had a queen bed, a kitchenette, large closet, dining table and a nice flat-screen TV. But as you walk further into the room and turn to the right , you... More

We have stayed at this hotel about 45 minutes from Madison's west side 2 times now, most recently in September, 2014. We stay one or two nights on a weekend in which we attend 2 plays at the American Players Theater, which is essentially across the street. The amenities/facilities are the best part of this resort hotel. It has a... More

Rooms need updating, yet are clean and comfortable. Enjoyed a quick breakfast at The Turn Bar and Grille prior to tee time. Friendly and helpful staff. Wifi not available in the rooms, but fine in the lobby area. Located between the theatre and Talisin with House on the Rock nearby.

We went to the House on the Rock for our 48th anniversary. I was a little nervous because a couple of the reviews said it was dirty. We found our room very clean and the people very warm and helpful and friendly. The furniture was dated but in good condition. There were two indoor pools and a large whirlpool. We... More

Not being golfers the only reason we stay here is the proximity to one of our favorite regional theaters. APT is just down the road a bit if you don't take the resort shuttle. We try to do at least one death by theatre weekend a year here and take in three plays over a weekend. Unfortunately the resort rooms... More

This was our first time staying at the resort and I would not hesitate to stay again. We stayed here due to the proximity to a wedding event. Beautiful grounds, quiet, view from the balcony of the golf course. My husband played golf and enjoyed it very much. The bed was comfortable and although the room was a bit dated,... More

My husband and I stayed here on a Saturday night between our weekend shows at APT. The building is constructed in the side of a hill and I would describe the architecture as organic craftsmen. In other buildings that I've visited I feel the craftsmen style is timeless. But, what makes this hotel's interior design feel dated is the 90's... More
