We have stayed here many times, but stopped staying here a couple of years ago because the motel was getting a little rough around the edges. We're happy to report that updating has been taking place and we were able to enjoy the closeness to the American Players Theatre and the quietness of the location once again. Our room was... More

This motel is the premier place to stay to enjoy the Frank Lloyd Wright heritage in the beautiful Wisconsin River Valley. Additionally, it is the PERFECT PLACE to stay in order to be very close to the wonderful American Players Festival outdoor theater, all in Spring Green, Wisconsin. The rooms are very comfortable, furnished in Wright motif, which actually make... More

We were very pleased with the service and overall ambiance of this delightful inn. It has many touches of Frank Lloyd Wright which is perfect near Taliesin. The intimate restaurant just down the hall offered a great meal - we all had the Friday Fish fry. The hot breakfast was ample and very good. Comfortable beds, clean, and pleasant setting.... More

We stayed at Spring Valley Inn for three nights while we toured Taliesin and House on the Rock. Very pleasant. Very nice swimming pool. Clean rooms and comfortable. People at the desk were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good but not outstanding. But we would come back!

Weather you are on a bike or car trip this place is perfect for the casual traveler. The grounds are spectacular. The Italian food at Pat's is quite good and fresh. We had an outstanding corn chowder. The pool is large and clean and the room are old school motel style but more stylish and comfy. The included breakfast is... More

Thank you for your feedback. We are glad you enjoyed our accommodations and amenities. We are sorry to hear that you feel our complimentary breakfast wasn’t terrific. If you are looking for a full-service breakfast cooked to order then yes you are correct, you'd want to try somewhere else for breakfast. However we hope our breakfast stands up to or... More

The Spring Valley Inn is off the beaten path (such as Spring Green has!) in the Lower Wisconsin River Valley area. It has a nice solid feel to it and is reminiscent of Frank Lloyd Wright's architecture, not surprising given its location so close to Wright's Taliesin home. The Inn is a single story structure built in a straight line... More

I've stayed at the Spring Valley Inn many times over the years! Whether seeing a play at American Players Theater, golfing at The House On the Rock Resort, visiting Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin, touring the popular Lake Louie micro brewery, or just enjoying the natural beauty of the Lower Wisconsin River Valley, this is the place to stay! Friendly, courteous... More

We like to stay here when we go to the American Players Theater and play golf at House on the Rock Golf course. Food has improved dramatically with the owners son the chef after graduating from a culinary school and recently working in a number of high end restaurants in Milwaukee. Service is always personal and good, with the owner... More

Convenient to Taliesen, quiet location , clean room , ok breakfast, reasonable price, friendly staff . I don't know what more you need. I am amazed that people seemed to hold such high expectations for a motel in rural wisconsin.

Just completed our second short stay this summer after attending plays at American Players Theatre (a really great theater company). The area about Spring Green is Frank LLoyd Wright country - a great area to visit. We have found the Spring Valley Inn provides a very pleasant, comfortable stay with a friendly, accommodating staff. The grounds about the Inn are... More
