The Spring Valley Inn is just 2 miles down the road from Taliesin and is also very close to downtown Spring Green, House on the Rock, a couple of state parks, and other sites in the area. The Inn is very reasonably priced, has fantastic amenities, and is super clean. The beds are very comfortable, and there is a nice... More

This hotel is well kept and quaint. It's not super fancy, but it is very clean and quiet. The staff is wonderful and friendly. And it was honestly quieter than other hotels we've been to. We had plans to go to town for breakfast but fist decided to try the free breakfast offered at the hotel. It was excellent! Always... More

This was our first stay. We formerly stayed at the Round Barn, which seems to be in decline and wanted a different experience. The staff is tremendous. They are extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms are small, but cozy and comfortable. The grounds are beautiful. The bar is welcoming and fun. The food in the restaurant is great. The free... More

Our stay at the Spring Valley Inn was very pleasant. As others have said, the location can't be beat, just down the road from the APT and Taliesin, as well as the Tower State Park. I have to say that while we were there, they had quite a few cars there so I know they were busy, but we never... More

We have stayed at Spring Valley Inn for a number of years and, after trying other motels in the area, keep coming back. Each time, we find more improvements added to enhance our stay. The beds have new mattresses and pillows, and there are outlets on the desk for plugging in our chargers. The bathroom was small, but the rest... More

Pat's Place served a fairly basic breakfast, included in our room stay. The food was tasty enough, but it was pretty much self serve and a limited menu: cereal, waffles, hard-boiled eggs, muffins, coffee, etc. I'll take breakfast included with the room, but I would not want to have breakfast here for more than one or two days.

This hotel is in a great location, close to APT. The hotel is peaceful and quiet. We had a nice breakfast (see separate review). They had a spot in their fridge for your leftovers or beverages that you bring with you. (Note: there are no fridges in the rooms.) The proprietors and staff are friendly and nice. There are not... From check in to check out to the room (although the bathroom is incredibly small!!) to the impressive grounds to the very friendly staff......all made our stay at this "old" gem a great experience. Thank you!

Hotel located in perfect location for Taliesin visit. Room was quiet. Bed in need of updating - far too soft. Had to ask for extra pillowsto supplement the tiny ones provided. Hard to find outlets to charge phones. While chairs were provided in the room they were not comfortable and quite small. AC/heat unit did not keep very even temperature... More

Came for Taliesin and stayed here. This is an average, slightly in need of updating motel. There is a beautiful indoor pool. Breakfast is average motel style. We asked for wine glasses and felt they were suspicious we would take them!
