17 miles fr Duluth and the $250 rooms you find there. This is a very small mom and pop motel. Small rooms but clean. Owners are easy to deal with. Right next to highway but after about 11 pm hardly any traffic. Nothing but woods close by. no stores, no petrol stations. Which is why we go there.

We weren't looking for more than a quick overnight stop. This place was clean but small - especially the bathroom. The owners were very pleasant to work with. I found this place online but we had talked to the office before we booked. Also surprising was that it was very quiet. I would recommend this place.

Quaint, comfortable, extremely clean, and exceptional value. Nestled alongside the highway, this is a step back in time to what motels used to be yet modernized enough to compete in today's times. Recommend this owner-owned establishment over area hotel chains.

Stayed here a couple of nights with my son over Labor Day weekend. You can tell the owners care about the place. The room was spotless, and everything was nicely updated. A great value for the money. My only complaint was the wi-fi. In our room, it was fluctuating between 0 and 1 bar, and was basically useless.

A 50's or 60's roadside motel. 11'x14' room. But here is the difference - this place is spotless. it doesn't smell. The interior was updated to knotty pine. The beds were firm. The bathroom was clean and modernized. The parking lot doesn't have pot holes. Location, location, location - Plan to see Amnicon falls, it is one mile east. Water... More

Motel was great and owners very friendly. This is a very nice mom & pop motel. (possibly part of what made it great!) Loved the different colored bathroom towels, decor was very nice. Bed was taller also a plus. Unexpected amenities such as mini fridge & flat screen tv. We will certainly stay here again. Room was small however perfect... More

We have a cabin in Northern Wisconsin and often make the drive to Duluth for the weekends from there. We have passed by this cute little classic roadside motel looking place several times and thought we should try it out so we did. And we were VERY pleasantly thrilled by how cute and accommodating the room was. The place is... More

We stayed here during a 2 week trip to Wisconsin and Michigan. It is very clean, nice comfortable bed, the owners are very nice folks. There was some road noise, but not enough to disturb our sleep. We would definitely stay here again. It is a good value for the area.

This place was a great find, my wife and I stayed here for one night as we were passing through. The owners were so accommodating for us, as we were arriving quite late that evening. She had our room ready for us, which one was less thing to worry about. The room was very clean and quaint. I loved the... More
