The main lodge is comforting, well appointed and the hosts receive everyone with genuine enthusiasm and warmth. Your comfort is their focus. The modern, open floor plan house at the back of the property is the ultimate peaceful retreat. If you're looking for tranquil getaway, with amicable hosts, Inn at Lonesome Hollow is the place to go. Only 3-4 hours... More

Wonderful place to relax . The inn was better than the website looked. Nice place to get away from it all.

Lovely people, beautiful location, superior lodging, peaceful and restful! This is actually my second opportunity to meet Pete and Nora - the first was at a Cheese Making workshop held at their inn, however the inn was full so I only attended during the day. I was so impressed with the B&B that I returned 3 weeks later with my... More

The Inn is at the end of a very beautiful valley in the rolling hills of Southwestern Wisconsin. The grounds surrounding the main building and two outlying buildings are amazingly well-kept. The breakfast was great too.

This was our second stay here and will not be our last. We don't think you could find a better host and hostess.

We spent three days at this location-splitting our time between the cabin and one of the Homestead Suites. Everything was comfortable, well equipped and surrounded by exquisite scenery. Hosts, Pete and Nora couldn't have been more helpful and pleasant. Our time was spent cross country skiing, snow shoeing and relaxing -- We would highly recommend this location during any season!

I travel quite a bit in Wisconsin, and I stay at bed and breakfasts exclusively. I really, really, really enjoyed my stay at the Inn at Lonesome Hollow for these reasons: 1) The Inn location is beautiful. I write during my getaways, and the setting was inspirational. Pete and Nora let me borrow some snowshoes, and I had a great... More

A most try and see, well worth the drive from anywhere. We were so fortuinate to find this as it was a passsing spontaeous fluke. We will be... More

Nora and Pete are great InnKeepers. The B & B has an awesome, picturesque view from ever angle you look. The Inn was comfortable as well as spacious. My daughter and I came to visit for a workshop. I would recommend staying here, especially if you have a few days to wander the area. We were made to feel very... More
