Looking for a reservation in Door County and found many required 2 nights on weekends. We were only planning on one night so decided to take our chances with a last minute one night. We were referred to Nordic Lodge by Pine Grove as they did not have a first floor room available 9/29/13. So we drove up to Nordic... More

Trying to make a last minute reservation for a lodge in Door County leaves one with little to choose from, I decided on Nordic Lodge and my husband and I were both very pleased with our stay. Staff is very friendly. There was coffee (cherry coffee-yum!) apples and popcorn available all day. The breakfast was the perfect amount to hold... More

Location: In a beautiful wooded area, a short drive from Fish Creek, and very quiet Cleanliness: Excellent Atmosphere: Homey, relaxed, and friendly Service: Excellent, with a smile every time Breakfast: You can eat in the very cozy lobby or take a tray to your room, including coffee, which included Door County Cherry Creme (yay!) tea, all sorts of scones and... I've stayed at the Nordic Lodge three times during the past six years, and nothing has changed. The rooms and common areas could use a little updating. The guest rooms are quite dark. I would love to have been able to open the door to the deck to let in fresh air and light, but there was no screen door.... More

This property is not what one imagines staying in when one wants a little Door County respite. I had not made reservations, called hotels on my way up, was at the mercy of hotels with a vacancy and so, Nordic Lodge it would be. They were the only place with vacancies in high season on a Saturday night- this says... More

What a terrific place to stay in Door County-close to all activities yet quiet and private. Very clean-excellent staff-nice pool and hot tub-a perfect retreat for a few days. The grounds were beautiful and the breakfast was just enough to start the day. Coffee available all day and very tasty.

We loved this place...large enough to have hotel ammenties but small enough to have a bed and breakfast feel. The personnel were quiet, friendly and most helpful. Delicious Cherry Coffee in the a.m. Nice pool and hot tub for relaxing. If we go back to Door County, we wll definitely stay at the Nordic Lodge.

I was not impressed with this motel. It is of the older style, and to tell the truth I could hardly stand the damp, musty odor. This kind of thing bothers my senses. Being that it was "in season" the rates were jacked up and really not worth it. The grounds were very scenic, and thankfully there were no mosquitoes,... More

Congenial staff, quiet location, clean rooms with firm (not hard) beds, nice pool and hot tub, and free coffee and breakfast. This hotel does everything right. The relaxed, friendly employees are well versed in the area and are quick to respond to tourist questions. Our king room met all of our needs and expectations. The pool, hot tub, and grounds... More

We loved this place! The only problem-and it was a major one if we are to return-was the beds! They were WAY too firm:( We told the cheerful front desk attendant that THAT was our only problem and she stated she wasn't sure what they would do about that. We only had a two night stay and that particular weekend... More
