After I visited Wagon Trail then I bought an RV! Five years later I'm a seasonal camper there. BEAUTIFUL GROUNDS! From most sites you can't see any other RVs. Dog friendly with a mile and a half of walking trails in the campground, and adjacent to Mink River Conservation area with more trails. White trillium and sweet peas, wild phlox,... More

We love Wagon Trail! Cleanest bathrooms I have ever seen. We also love that there are sinks with hot water to wash dishes. We have a pop-up camper and always reserve one of the larger sites to have extra room for the kids to run around. They have a blast catching toads and frogs and playing at the playground. This... To start off we got engaged!!! But my finance said he couldn't of done it with out the staff at the wagon trail. Before our arrival he called they gave us the most private site they had. And then they helped him find a florist and candy shop. When we got there the site was beautiful, wooded, secluded, and clean.... More

Best Wisconsin campground we have ever stayed at. Bakery, small bar, and restaurant within walking distance and discount coupons available. Clean, clean, clean. The bathrooms were perfect and the grounds were well kept. Lots of huge campers along with a few tents. Cabins available. Main attractions a few miles away. Great people in the office. Camp store with ice, eggs,... More

The campground owners really do a wonderful job keeping the campground clean, manicured and private. We last visited in May, 2012 and rented one of their camping cabins with our dogs. There are a lot of trees between every site and it's like camping in a state park, but better. If you have a camping unit, a prime electric and... More

Wagon Trail is a great little campground. The hideaway sites are perfect for anyone who likes a bit more privacy than some of the other public campgrounds that really pack one site on top of another. We always tent on a hideaway site. There are only a few, so make sure to reserve in advance if you want to go... More

I came to the Wagon Trail as a child, and decided to come back with my own family some 20 years later. We were so glad we came back! As a previous poster mentioned, not much has changed - which I was so excited about. The service/staff is still amazing. The bathrooms are still the best I've seen from a... More

We stayed in a yurt here after about a 20 year absence. Not much has changed and that is a good thing. Friendly, super clean, and quiet! They have added wifi and yurts. The yurt we stayed in was super convenient, clean, and had bunk beds. Made it easy to "camp" with three small kids. Glad some things don't change,... More

My husband and I stayed here when we were just married. We stay in a yurt. We love these yurts! There is a fan, heater and electricity! They have plastic mattresses so you are not totally weirded out sleeping on a real mattress. Super super clean bathrooms! I mean... Amazing! Everything here is adorable! And to make it even more... We camped here in early June, and it was really rather empty. The high season in Door County had not started yet, so it felt like we had the place to ourselves. The women in the office were wonderful. They gave lots of area information and brochures. The camp store was well-stocked. The bathroom/shower area was nice and clean. They... More
