I loved the place. Very clean and it was quiet. The beds were comfortable. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. I was there on business and I asked one of the local(native) people about the design of the lodge and he said it was a typical Northwoods design and not a Mountain Lodge design as one of the reviewers... more

I was here for a wedding in May 2005 for two nights. This is a hotel done in the style of a classic mountain lodge. It was opened in about 1999 or 2000 and the interior decorator must have thought of all the cliches associated with mountain lodges and then put them here. This is a wonderful place to stay in the Northwoods of Wisconsin. I have stayed here several different times. The hotel is well kept and the rooms are clean and comfortable.
