Our villas were very nice and the staff was very friendly. Be advised if you plan to cook your 4 bedroom condo will have 6-7 plates, 8 forks and 1 saucepan. You will need to bring all your own cooking supplies! While Blue Harbor maintains that the resort fees and taxes are visible on the website and that guests must... More

We took a three day two night vacation to Blue Harbor and had a great time. We got a room with the bunk beds and our 3 year old daughter is still talking about it over 6 months later! We were here mid week in July so it was not crowded and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The... More

We love this place! We've tried a few indoor water parks around the Chicago area and this one beats them all in terms of service, kids activities, accomodations and price. We recently visited Blue Harbor and while it is under construction (lobby is being renovated) we enjoyed every minute. The water park has a little something for everyone in the... More

Our check in started out very well, however being repeat customers it would have been nice to know that there were renovations going on, it was a bit confusing. Better communication would have been great. After that we went up to our room - we had the loft suite and looked as if it hadn't been vacuumed or dusted as... More

Clearly Blue Harbor has made some changes as they have new ownership and while some of that may turn out nice, there were also some issues. First, they used to have milk and cookies for the kids with story time - that's gone. Second, the restaurant had to find milk to serve for the kids (the other was closed for... More

We appreciate your comments. I apologize for the milk and cookies we should not have charged $3 per glass for it! It was very busy and we have ordered new pool towels. It's my fault for under estimating how many we needed. I thought 2,000 of them was enough. We have created a special dining area for families in our... More

We went Jan.21st. for a one night stay in a 4 bedroom villa. The web special said there's a 10% discount for booking by Jan. 19th. That didn't happen..I had to call and question it, and then they only gave us $30.00 off. Watch out..a $449.00 price for one night turned out to be $548.00! There is a room tax..a sales... More

We are very sorry for the confusion with our resort fee. Our confirmations were printing this detail toward the bottom of the page. I can see where people would have missed it. We certainly do NOT want to hide anything and want our guests to have full knowledge of all pricing at the time of booking. I'm glad you enjoyed... More

We went over new years eve and had a great time. The waterpark was perfect for our 10 and 8 year olds. Great location and can't wait to go in the summer. The only downside was the food. The new years eve buffet was awful. We made reservations for the buffet a few days prior when a staff member called... More

We're really glad you had a great time and your comments on our NY Eve food are also appreciated. I think we tried too hard to theme the event around our luau theme and should have had a more "middle of the road" approach to the menu. Many people told me they enjoyed it, but others also didn't care for... More

I would have given the resort a 5 star except for there is construction going on right now so not all the amenities were available. There is only one resturaunt available. The coffee/sweet shopped had just been relocated for the remodel and it took quite a bit of time to get my specialty coffee but the clerk and a manager... More

Thank you so much for your review and comments! Yes, our corridor carpet is being replaced. I'm also glad you took advantage of our Harbor Heroes package. We appreciate your service! Our lobby work should be finished by March 9. On or before Memorial Day our expanded pool deck and other lakefront improvements will be made. More

We have been to Blue Harbor Resort several times. Every trip has been great. My mother joined our family this time and she just loved it too! The staff has always been friendly and very helpful. We love the views of Lake Michigan. We ate at the hotel and enjoyed several restaurants near the hotel. We plan to return again. More
