very nice clean hotel right on the wharf, very close to fishing charters. hotel was quiet at night. staff were very helpful whenever contacted. they went out of their way to provide breakfast earlier than usual, as our fishing charter left at 5am. evening desk worker was especially helpful when recommending a wonderful reasonable restaurant.

I'll keep it real simple. The location, price, condition, and service for the Harbor Winds were fantastic. However, they have the worst Pillows I've ever slept on. I did not sleep at all even tried the floor, and was unsucsessful. My wife brought her own pillow and she said the bed was uncomfortable for her, so all around we did... More

I stayed at Harbor Winds when I was in town to visit my sister. The biggest advantage of this hotel is the awesome location. My room had a view of the river. I could see the drawbridge go up and down, boats cruising the river, ducks, etc. There is a boardwalk along the river that you can reach steps from... More

A girl friend and I stayed one night at the Harbor Winds in September, 2009, and found the staff very friendly and the room cozy and clean. Breakfast was provided, and we ate it in a cheerful sunporch/dining area. We loved the location on the lake so much that my husband and I booked a night in November. The rates... More

My wife and I have traveled quite a bit, both within the U.S. and internationally, so we have a fair amount of experience in judging hotel accommodations. We just spent two nights at the Harbor Winds - it ain't the Osthoff (the elegant and pricey resort in nearby Elkhart Lake), but it is a very nice, clean, well-maintained, basic little... More

We reserved a room at the Harbor Winds for the night before our charter fishing trip. The rooms were clean, quiet and nicely equipped. Jacob, the front desk clerk was very accommodating for us, giving us 4AM wake up calls, putting out breakfast early for us before our trip. It worked out perfectly that we just walked down the river... More

I stayed at the Harbor Winds Hotel very recently in the beggining of June, and was blown away by what a great time I had! The pictures that I looked at online did not do the hotel justice! Inside it is very cozy, and the atmosphere was great! The staff members were all very friendly and welcoming, from the moment... More

Stayed for three nights in May. Hotel room was clean and comfortable. It reminded me of a Fairfield Inn room. We had two double beds, small fridge and microwave. Room faced river. Kings are available without the river view. Breakfast provided was pretty good. The pastry's were purchased at a local bakery and were very good. They weren't the dry... More

We chose this hotel for our package with Sipping On The Shores. The hotel was nice, except that the lobby was very open to the second floor and was very loud. Didn't get much sleep with all the activity. Originally asked for a quiet room and they tried but I don't think any room would be very quiet.
