What wonderful hospitality! Glenys got the fire going in the morning, before we got up to eat a fantastic breakfast, and again in the evening so we got back to a lovely cosy house. Beautifully kept house (and garden), full of books, and photographs showing the history of the Ferry Hotel. We'll definitely be back for more!

The Ferry Hotel B & B is a lovely stop in a rural setting, but it is an easy, straight, short trip into Queenstown. Glenys and Kevin are fine hosts. In addition to clean, comfortable rooms and wonderful breakfasts, they offer communal use of their refrigerator and kitchen. Free wi-fi is also available. We highly recommend this B & B.

We stayed for 2 night in January and Glenys immediately made us feel at home. We visited Arrowtown whilst there on the recommendation of Glenys and thoroughly enjoyed the rest-bite from visiting Queenstown. Everything was perfect at The Ferry B&B and we highly recommend to stay there.Thank you Glenys.

It was our last couple of days in New Zealand and we felt so lucky that we stayed with Glenys and Kevin's Ferry B&B. Perfect ending of our lovely 2 weeks in NZ. The garden is beautiful and makes the house look like a fairy tale home from outside. Step inside, lots of history but warm and cozy! we loved... More

The Ferry was a perfect fit for our family of 4. The hospitality from the host was outstanding. The breakfast with homemade bread and fresh fruits was a perfect way to start the day. The walks around the home place are very special. The pets were a special touch...my family loved seeing and playing with the dog and 2 cats.... More

My daughter and I stayed with Glenys and Kevin for 3 nights and had a wonderful time over New Year. It was such a great rural location close to the river and walks, easy access to both Arrowtown and Queenstown. The gardens were lovely and the hosts very kind, warm and helpful. we felt like we'd visited family. The room... More

Stayed for 4 nights in Feb 2013. The best place we stayed in our two weeks of travelling. Glenys is a truly superb hostess who thinks of the tiniest detail. The bedroom was beautifully decorated and it and the en suite were spotlessly clean, as was the rest of the house. Having use of a fully fitted kitchen was great.... More

Stayed a week with Kevin & Glenys & didn't want to leave. We felt more like friends, than paying guests. Kevin & Glenys were interesting & interested making our stay so enjoyable. The historic house is spotless & well loved. Fascinating photos & news articles of the 1870's house adorn the walls that give you a real insight into the... More

We stayed with Glenys and Kevin for six nights, and wish it was six months. The spacious area we had ensured that the peace and quiet of the location continued in the house. As hosts, they are exceptional, breakfast beautiful, i have even bought a yoghurt maker as Glenys converted me to making my own. Buckley was so well behaved.... More

My wife, my mother, my father and I stayed with Glenys and Kevin, Buckley and the Cats for four nights in Feb 2103. The house is beautiful, the history is enthralling, and the area is truly beautiful, but it was Glenys and Kevin that really made the place for us. Glenys' attention to detail in the house was excellent, and... More
