Located about 10 minutes drive from hectic Queenstown this was a perfect location for our first night in New Zealand. It was so absolutely quiet and had everything required for our overnight stay. The room was spacious with kitchen facilities along one wall - small fridge, hotplate, sink and basic cooking requirements. Fresh milk on arrival is always so appreciated.... More

When we drove into the lodge, I couldn't believe how beautiful and lush the gardens looked. We stayed in the 1 Bedroom suite which was an upstairs room, we had an 18 month old, but managed to just put the sofa next to the stair and block it off. Upon check-in, we realised that we were the only ones staying... More

Thank you for your kind words and we're so glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us. As you mentioned, there is plenty of space for a little one to wander....or bigger ones to enjoy a glass of wine amongst our vines. :) Please let us know if you are heading back our way. We would be delighted... More

You want peace and tranquility you stay here. You want luxury at an affordable price you stay here. You want good service you stay here. This accommodation is the benchmark I feel for Queenstown. Okay it is not set amongst the party area, however it is only 10 minutes away. Our hosts and manager have a wealth of knowledge that... More

We stayed at Manata Lodge on our Honeymoon in April 2014. The location was beautiful and the room fantastic. For a couple of Aussies, the underfloor heating and heated towel racks were a real bonus! Our later arrival and activities during the week didn't give us a chance to meet our hosts, but the room was lovingly attended each day,... More

We spent 2 wonderful nights at Manata Lodge and would highly recommend it. The setting is so peaceful with beautiful gardens and out of the hustle and bustle of town and a great place to return to after a busy day. The room was huge and comfortable and included a fully functional kitchen and the room opened onto a private... More

I spent 2 days in Manata, and it is wonderful. Honestly, the location is not the best, it is quite far from the downtown and you definitely need a car. But the lodge it self, facility and all the settings are simply the best. Esther was very nice to me, I like the way she welcomed guests. Eventhough I wanted... More

I booked via GrabOne and this was our first trip to Queenstown. We had a rental so thought the location was really good. A short to medium drive to lots of sites and attractions. Out of the hustle of town the grounds are lovely and private and the tennis court was an added bonus (although new balls might be a... More

Excellent place to stay and very quiet. Sarah and the owners very nice and were conscious not to be seen unless needed. Fantastic stay. We were away most of the day at activities but on returning it was like coming home. Very restful.

Dear Paul, Thank you for your lovely response. Our Wakatipu Suite is perfect for family stays, we love hearing the sounds of the children enjoying themselves in the gardens. We hope you return again. Many thanks More

Upon reaching Manata Lodge, I soon found myself blissfully asleep upon a bed inside the Pavilion Suite. The long night with both our families finally took its toll on me. While I was snoring my head off like an oversized barbarian; My beautiful wife was soaking in the tranquillity that is Manata Lodge. Which she soon shared with her well rested... More

We were on our 2nd honeymoon -48 years down the track and couldn't have stayed at a more beautiful, luxurious or hospitable place. Met at the airport, incredible accommodation in a botanical garden setting and made to feel one of the family. Near to Queenstown and a shopping centre, mountain bikes supplied, dvd's, books and games. Would recommend Manata Lodge... More
