Perfect little motel for the weekend. My husband and I were up with friends. Everything we needed and right on the lake. We went up ice fishing. Was only able to get out one day as it got bitterly cold. Fibbers is a great place to eat and find out any tips from the Owner, Rob Manthi. Would definately go... More

Went to St. Germain lodge for a snowmobile trip. We stayed in a three bedroom cabin. It was perfect. Great location for snowmobiling or fishing during the summer. Restaurant and bar was great. Had dinner and drinks and the food was great. Service from front desk was excellent as well. I would highly recommend for groups or family looking for... More

We rented one of their cabins. It was modern and clean--not at all the older cabins you run into that are trying to pass as "up north" but which are really old and run down. The fish fry in the restaurant was excellent--my broiled cod was moist and cooked just right. Rob, the owner, is a great host who visits... More

Recently stayed at one of the lodge rooms, upstairs from the restaurant.Very quiet, huge room, very clean, lots of hot water and lots of windows! Terrific lakefront location, affordable, I loved it.They supply plenty of supplies and towels, so housekeeping every four days is no problem.

Love the location, but the rooms way too expensive for what was offered. Bed was lumpy, no house keeping until your 4th night stay, old tvs, uncomfortable sofa, water took up to 10 min to get warm at times to have a hot shower, coffee pot is mini and no microwave. If you offer no house keeping for 4 days,... More

Have stayed here 5 times, always great, always clean, always quiet. Owners are really nice, not sure what some of the reviews are about. Best fish fry ever, beautiful bar.

Though we loved the St.Germaine area, we were very disappointed with the Sunset Pines, vacation rental. The cabin itself was nice and clean and a nice quiet lake location, but they need new mattresses big time! We have stayed in vacation rentals for years, but have never had such horrible beds. They were hard as a rock and crunchy! We... More

Our family has been vacationing in St. Germain for many, MANY years and we made the switch to stay at the St. Germain Lodge 3 years ago. Based on other resorts in the area, the cabins are the best deal for the money - they're clean, well kept and very spacious. Our family group of 35-45 saved thousands coming here... More

We have stayed 4 times over the past 6 years. Total lack of service on our last stay. The owners and management are rude. The previous owners were much better. Very disappointing to spend all that money at a so called resort. It's really a shame, because it's in a great location. Way too many places to pick from in the... More

We rented a room in the lodge for two nights. We were not satisfied with our stay, particularly with the lack of customer service, however the room also needed some care and updating. Like other recent reviewers, the service here was pathetic. Upon arriving, there was no one at the check in desk. The bar staff called for help and... More
