My girlfriend and I took a play it by ear trip up to Bayfield from Minneapolis and happened across this place on their hotel registry. The home is beautiful, very large with amazing landscaping. The owners are genuine and kind people that really have the traditional b&b experience perfected. We arranged a 7:30 breakfast because we had a morning boat... More

First time going to a B&B and it was wonderful. Easy to find, great accommodations, and very, very nice hosts. We needed a place to stay after a family reunion in Superior (we drove up from central Wisconsin initially). This was about 40 miles away from Superior and worth the trip. Beautiful (did I say beautiful) gardens. We sat outside... More

We stayed one night. Very comfortable. We were just passing through really - not much in this tiny town - but the owners directed us to a beautiful nearby beach to watch the sunset. Breakfast was delightful! Beautifully set table - fresh flowers - and Karleen made Eberskivels for breakfast. The minute we got home I ordered an electric Eberskivel... More

Tom and Karleen have created a wonderful experience here. Their B&B is immaculate, the breakfast was gourmet (see pic), the conversation flowed easily, their gardens are tour-worthy. My wife and I and our teenage sons felt very much at home, and will definitely return. Our only regret on this vacation was that we didn't have another day to spend at... More

The Garden House is a quiet and relaxing place to stay. Karleen and Tom are wonderful hosts who were great to talk to and made us feel at home. We stayed in the Red Room, which was large, comfortable, and had air conditioning (a huge bonus for the freakishly hot weather we experienced). Highly recommended!

The hosts are very nice. Our room was large, clean, comfortable. The breakfast was great. The place is well maintained with beautiful flower beds. If you are anywhere this town, I highly recommend staying here.

Like a home away from home, with delicious breakfast and wonderful hosts. We stayed in the room with a private bath. So clean and inviting. Beautiful surroundings. Good for families as well as couples or singles. Each breakfast is imaginative and different with ice cream for dessert.

Located in a quiet town away from the bustle of Bayfield but still in vicinity of the beautiful apostle islands. Tom and Karleen are very warm and accommodating. They provide a spectacular 5 star gourmet breakfast, and has a very nice yard and patio to relax on. The rooms are not fancy but clean and quiet. Very reasonably priced compared... More

This is a lovely bed & breakfast. The owners are very welcoming and charming. The setting is beautiful. There are flower gardens in the back, along with a large deck to relax with your coffee in the morning. Breakfast is one of the best we've had in a bed & breakfast. Each course was prepared with care and beautifully presented.... More

On a last minute decision we decided to go see the ice caves. By luck we found the Garden house B & and booked the 2 bedroom suite for my wife and daughter. The house was very clean and spacious. The owners were very charming and accomodating. It ended up being very convenient for us to get to the ice... More
