The location of this hotel is spectacular if you are visiting the area. Shops, restaurants and water front are all an easy walking distance on level ground. The guest room was well appointed but the shower was a challenge. It was difficult to turn on and once having water flow from all of the various heads it was not possible... More

I was on my way home from a business trip, and came into Port Washington in the late afternoon. I was tired and thought I might stay the night in this lovely town of I could find a room. I had seen the Port Hotel before on trips through Port Washington, so I called to see if there were any... More

We found the service to be very friendly, and the room itself was just perfect. They've managed to maintain the classic feel of the old inn, but update the amenities in a way that makes your stay VERY comfortable. We will absolutely be back!

We stayed at the Port Hotel over the 4th of July weekend. It was our first visit to this small town, so we weren't sure what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised. In such a small town, there weren't many choices when it came to lodging, and although there was a large hotel chain in town, we like to... More

The halls are hot, but the room has central air that works efficiently and effectively. I had a king size bed that was amazing. Everything was spotless. The shower had excellent pressure. The food could be a tad better, but it was still good. If that's a deciding factor, there are other places blocks away with great food. For being... More

In May, 2014, my wife and I dined at this restaurant. The pork chops were so hard the steak knife could not cut them. Ann suggested we order another dinner. BUT she said the chef DID say the chops appeared to be hard even before they were served! We ordered the half rack of BBQ RIBS. After alll the time... More

The hotel website said free coffee on the first floor from 6 am till 10 am. When we went for coffee we found the door to the restaurant... More

My boyfriend and I loved our stay at the Port Hotel. We took advantage of a Groupon deal and stayed a couple of nights in one of their suites. We each had a 30-minute massage (she came to our room), and breakfast brought to the room. We had a wonderful all-you-can-eat buffet of ribs, fried chicken, and shrimp in their... More
