From start to finish it was a wonderful experience. We stayed two nights, biked the Interurban trail-north to Belgium one day and south to Cedarburg the second day. Joe the owner and Kate the manager and their entire staff could not be more helpful and friendly. Had Criminni Ravioli ( not sure on the spelling) one night that was to... More

This is a relaxing place to stay. The service is just as it would have been in years past. Guest comforts come first. Breakfast is brought to your room so you can relax leisurely in your fluffy robe that is provided. The room is furnished with the most comfortable bed and chairs. Our room even had its own fireplace. Jacuzzi... More

We live just an hour away from Port Washington but thought an over night stay and dinner at the Port would be fun. We were not disappointed at all. Kate was a delight and we had a nice conversation with Dave the bartender. Our room was very comfortable and decorated beautifully. Having breakfast in the room is nice but we... More

We had a spacious, well-appointed room on the second floor. When I made the reservation, I was told "This is an older property, there are no elevators." Be advised, gentle reader, there are 20 narrow creaking steps to the second floor, so travel light. There is a third floor, as well. Once there, however, the room is a delight. Comfy... More

The Port Hotel Restaurant and Inn is quaint, cozy, and comfortable in downtown Port Washington, WI. Reservations are suggested and our table by a window was very cozy. My wife had the special, salmon with maple glaze served with salad, bacon wrapped potatoes, and hot fresh bread and butter. I had the buffet and enjoyed peel and eat shrimp, seafood... More

We stayed here on a Groupon one night and paid full price for the second night in the Presidential Suite. This is a historic building. The rooms have been fully restored and are very nice with fireplaces and Kohler fixtures in the bathroom. Again, this is a historic building, so there are stairs- no elevators. If you need handicap accessible... More

The location of this hotel is spectacular if you are visiting the area. Shops, restaurants and water front are all an easy walking distance on level ground. The guest room was well appointed but the shower was a challenge. It was difficult to turn on and once having water flow from all of the various heads it was not possible... More

I was on my way home from a business trip, and came into Port Washington in the late afternoon. I was tired and thought I might stay the night in this lovely town of I could find a room. I had seen the Port Hotel before on trips through Port Washington, so I called to see if there were any... More

We found the service to be very friendly, and the room itself was just perfect. They've managed to maintain the classic feel of the old inn, but update the amenities in a way that makes your stay VERY comfortable. We will absolutely be back!

We stayed at the Port Hotel over the 4th of July weekend. It was our first visit to this small town, so we weren't sure what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised. In such a small town, there weren't many choices when it came to lodging, and although there was a large hotel chain in town, we like to... More
