I ALWAYS come back here. it's an old building , with updated features with has history, rooms comfortable , very comfortable . not all rooms have bathtubs so ask for a room with that in it or you might not be able to switch to a room with one in it . This lace is almost always full ! especially... More

Had a great weekend getaway at 52 Stafford. Staff members were friendly and helpful. Loved the bar...equal amounts of locals and guests. Would be a local stop if we lived in Plymouth. The hotel is located near the scenic Kettle Moraine forest so when the rain finally stopped we enjoyed riding to look at the fall colors.

We decided at the last minute to get away for the weekend, I was thinking Lake Geneva, but we couldn't find any place that looked interesting with a room available for just one night...so we cast our net wider and found 52 Stafford. It is absolutely charming ! What's not to love about a building built in 1893 and lovingly... More

What a great little hotel. Usually you find a place like this and it is a modern structure made up to look old. not in this case. The building is over 100 years. and if it wasn't for the Wisconsin accents I would have sworn I was not in this country. The decor and food was spot on. The staff... More

My husband and I stayed one night in August. We live in Phoenix, AZ and were in Wisconsin to attend my 50-year high school reunion in Random Lake. A glitch with a previous booking resulted in a last minute call to the Stafford and we were fortunate to get a room on a Saturday night. The visit was memorable because... More

My husband and I stayed here the night of July 4th. We had a very good experience here. The breakfast was delicious (omelets and sausage). We are not complainers, but would like to suggest a few updates that would even make the Inn better. The TV in our room was the oldest model Zenith I had seen in a long... More

We stayed here because we were attending a race at Road America. The rooms are small but very homey and clean. The staff was just wonderful. We ate at the restaurant for dinner and the food was very good and prices very reasonable. The included breakfast is delicious and cooked to order.

Ski club stayed here for the weekend as base for cross country skiing in North Kettle Moraine. I loved the hotel. The ambiance was fantastic - the decor provided old world Irish feel - restaurant on ground floor was cozy yet had lots of room for wine and cheese party prior to dinner and games after dinner. The hotel's restaurant... More

We came here for a long weekend of snowshoeing and relaxation. This quaint Irish inn provided a convenient and cozy, if slightly tired, jumping-off point for our outings into the Northern Unit of Kettle Moraine State Park. Having the best restaurant in town right on the premises was great (recommend the Jameson Chicken), except that it's closed on Sunday evenings.... More

The staff told us they stopped welcoming dogs after a bad experience a few years back but they agreed to accommodate us after assurances that we would not leave the dog unattended. We were so happy becasue it is our favorite place to stay in the area. We come to Plymouth for the hiking and ski trails but also for... More
