We had reserved a room at the Inn several months in advance of a wedding. Two days before the wedding, the Inn called to tell us that they had given our room to someone else. They didn't offer to find another place for us to stay - just suggested that we call around. Now every hotel/motel/b&b within 50 miles is... More

We stayed here when we booked a last minute trip to Pepin for our anniversary and all the hotels in the area were booked. Thankfully, we only stayed one night. We had 2 full beds in the room and they were not comfortable (happy anniversary). The room was musty and the air conditioner hardly worked. I didn't bother taking a... More

My husband and I went on a impropmtu trip to Red Wing, MN yesterday and before we left I picked a random place to stay. Well, it was based on price and reviews but that's all I knew about the area. Wow were we surprised! It was a beautiful driver accross the river and around the bends on our 35... More

My sister and I were traveling the great river road and one of our goals was to see the Laura Ingalls. Wilder cottage in Pepin. This is a small town but this inn was one of our highlights. Simple, super clean, cozy, Amish accents, beautiful rocking chair, matching Amish quilts on beds and a warm, welcoming receptionist. The rate was reasonable... More

We stayed here as a family of 4 in the end room. Very basic, but clean and comfortable. We were visiting friends who had a sail boat in the marina, so the room was a place to shower and sleep. We were comfortable and everything in our room worked just fine. The owner was very nice and made us feel... More

Was in town to visit the Laura Ingalls Wilder museum which is across the street. The lady in charge was very friendly. The room was clean and decorated nicely. Nothing fancy, but the décor went perfectly with the "Laura Ingalls" part of our vacation. Would stay here again. Only complaint that I would have is that the advertised free Wi-Fi... More

This was such a wonderful little motel in Pepin for three couples to stay for a night as we traveled the Great River Road on motorcycles. I would recommend it to anyone as the lady in charge that afternoon was so very helpful and the rooms were very so nice and very comfortable. A definite stay for us again!

We stayed here in late May. The clerk kept the office open just long enough to register us and another woman, then closed for the night at about 6:00 PM. The office was still closed the next morning, around 9:00 AM, when my husband tried to go and ask a question. Maybe someone was hiding in there, but we saw... More

The price is right but the advertised deal does not. No phone, wireless "broke" (trying to find someone to fix it), and the bed was horrible. WE STAYED IN 2. btw: this is a drive up to the door motel.

We had the second room from the left. The room was very nice and clean. For a basic motel, it was much nicer than expected. It was also quiet, and everything worked well inside. Would stay there again.
