Booked this guest house for three nights while visiting Cambridge. We arrived after 9pm and were met by a friendly gentleman who took our details and showed us to our room. The room was at the back of the house, overlooking a lovely garden. The room was clean and had tea/coffee making facilities as well as a small fridge, which... More

We have stayed here several times now to visit family in Cambridge. Rooms are comfortably sized and spotless. Owners are welcoming without being intrusive. Parking is easy - off-street and ample. Area is quiet but within easy reach of city centre. Nice garden. Breakfast freshly prepared and very nicely done. Overall, simple but excellent.

Another wonderful stay at this Guest House. Very clean, comfortable, & friendly. Rooms facing the garden are the best. Quick & frequent bus service to the town centre. Will definitely stay here again when next visiting Cambridge.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights and couldn't have been more satisfied. The Guest House is situated in a regular 'bus sevrice into Cambridge some 2.5 miles away and there are ample places to eat and shop locally. The room was spacious and provided every facility one could hope for, including a small 'fridge and ample storage... More

I suffer from eczema and was told that I could not stay at Hamden Guest House in future as it dirtied the sheets. I have never heard such complete nonsense in all my life. Appalled. Totally disgusted. Discriminating against a customer on health grounds. Disgraceful behaviour. This is a great shame as the B&B is clean and tidy if a... More

We stayed at this guest house one night while we visited out daughter who's studying at Cambridge uni. We arrived by bus #1 which was literally door-to-door from the railway station. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean and had plenty of storage space. It was a little utilitarian-looking but nevertheless perfectly pleasant, and the en-suite, although perhaps slightly cramped was... More

Was visiting friends in the area and a quick Google search turned up this guest house. If you are coming into Cambridge via train, there is a bus that goes from the train station which literally stops outside the guest house. Room was spacious, bed comfortable and the hosts were friendly. Breakfast was tasty in the morning - choice of... More
