We brought the kids for a vacation before their return to school. We found the cabins to be clean and as described. This is a family run business and the owners were very friendly and helpful. Each of the cabins appears to have a full kitchen although we ate out most nights. There was a new bar/grill that had just opened down the road called The Red Pines-great food. We also ordered in pizza one night .
The kids got to swim and the fishing was great right off the dock. There were canoes and kayaks available free of charge.
One afternoon we took a nature cruise through the wildlife refuge. This was recommended to us by some other people we had met at the resort. It was incredible to see so many birds that had already started their fall migration. It was nice to be able to relax and be so close to nature.
We would return to Clearwater Cabins again. more
