Wasn't sure what to expect in the dead of winter but we really felt the warmth of this charming B&B. The owners went out of their way to insure a great stay even under booking troubles no fault of their own. The room was wonderful allowing for a much needed relaxing weekend. Highly recommend for anyone traveling through this part... More

The family that manages the Ludlow Mansion are great people! The place is very clean, nicely decorated without being cluttered, and the breakfasts are wonderful. It is a comfortable and quaint environment. We enjoy the cheese houses and breweries in the area and recommend this as a great weekend getaway.

My husband and I stayed at The Ludlow Mansion in Monroe, WI, for three nights as a gift from our son and his family. We loved the accomodations. The rooms are HUGE and well furnished. The attentiveness of the hosts, Randy, Shirley, and Nathan, is just right...enough to let you know they are around, but not intrusive at all. The... More

The B&B was very nice inside and clean. We only meet the gentlemen and he was great. They run a catering business there and I think the wife was busy with that. We could hear the people partying at night as they has the use of the whole house. They advertised a continental breakfest and I quess I missed that... More

It is always difficult to address issues when you may not know exactly to whom you are referring, particularly when the visit was almost a year ago. It is always our desire and goal, no matter who it is, to do our utmost to exceed your expectations. We are very sorry we did not do that in your case. We... More

We were fortunate enough to have found this last minute on a business trip to Monroe. Having stayed at several B&B's and, having either a terrible or good experience, this really surprised me. From the staff to the property and breakfast - everything was superb! All the rooms we saw were nicely appointed, all the bathrooms were updated and clean... More

Using the word "Mansion" in the name is definitely not an overstatement. This is a true mansion turned into a very unique B&B. The proprietors are extremely friendly, responsive and helpful (example: provided gluten-free options at breakfast). Although they do not have a fitness room the Green County YMCA is across the street. Very short drive from the town square... More

Monroe WI is a delightful community in a lovely region. While I was there on business, staying at The Ludlow Mansion made it particularly pleasurable. The hosts were most gracious in accommodating my particular schedule. I stayed in Shirley's Suite and very much enjoyed the large, light-filled room. And the spa bath was welcome after a long day of work.... More

You have been gracious hosts every time we have visited. Belle's Suite was comfortable and relaxing. Food and drink were marvelous as well. We have recommended you to many friends at home. We will be back very soon to visit again.

We called at around 9PM and they thankfully had a room for us. The high ceiling and architectural details were breathtaking. Great coffee! Didn't do breakfast because we had to leave. So peaceful! And very romantic!
