We've stayed at the Americinn in Monocqua several times. It's centrally located - you can walk to all the shops and beaches. Close to the grocery stores too. Rooms are always clean and staff is friendly. Much better than chancing it at a cabin rental, in my opinion. more

We checked in at the AmericInn on Saturday evening. The front desk staff were very friendly, and we were able to get in our room early. The pool area was nice, and clean. Hotel was very clean and tidy. Rooms are older but bathrooms have been redone recently. Pool is great, has a sauna and whirlpool. Has a free breakfast daily. Overall lives up to the Americinn name, nothing fancy, but very clean and tidy. more

Great stay for the dollar. We booked on Orbitz for only $67.50 a night. The hotel was perfect for our "sleeping" needs. We spent our days and evenings enjoying the great North Woods. I loved Minoqua -- beautiful town, many lakes all around, and I wished I brought a bike for the 40+ mile trail! Hotel was very nice, my first stay at the AmericInn and I was very impressed! Loved the pool / hot-tub / sauna, very friendly staff, and great breakfast. more

(1) A/C did not work properly and had a leak, dripping all night. (2) No Parking. I had to park at another establishment. (3) Loud guests in the lobby woke me up several times during the night (midnight through 3 am). Major problem was I had to call the front desk to quiet them down. (4) Not very clean. more
