The AmericInn worked out great for my family to fill in one night on our vacation. The room was spotlessly clean and the location near the Torpy Park beach couldn't be better. Easy walk to the best bait shop and grocery store in the area. The kids loved the indoor pool, too. This motel has some of the friendliest front... more

We've stayed at the Americinn in Monocqua several times. It's centrally located - you can walk to all the shops and beaches. Close to the grocery stores too. Rooms are always clean and staff is friendly. Much better than chancing it at a cabin rental, in my opinion. more

We checked in at the AmericInn on Saturday evening. The front desk staff were very friendly, and we were able to get in our room early. The pool area was nice, and clean. We had a king whirlpool for only $66.00 it was on the second floor and even with several snowmobilers the room was quiet, only a few times... more

Hotel was very clean and tidy. Rooms are older but bathrooms have been redone recently. Pool is great, has a sauna and whirlpool. Has a free breakfast daily. Overall lives up to the Americinn name, nothing fancy, but very clean and tidy. more

Great stay for the dollar. We booked on Orbitz for only $67.50 a night. The hotel was perfect for our "sleeping" needs. We spent our days and evenings enjoying the great North Woods. The beds were comfy, a.c. worked well, windows opened, great location, nice staff. Breakfast was adequate. We didn't use the pool b/c we spent so much time... more

I loved Minoqua -- beautiful town, many lakes all around, and I wished I brought a bike for the 40+ mile trail! Hotel was very nice, my first stay at the AmericInn and I was very impressed! Loved the pool / hot-tub / sauna, very friendly staff, and great breakfast. more

We recently stayed two nights at this hotel and were very pleased. The room was very nice (our room had a whirlpool), and the hotel is pet friendly and we were able to bring along our dog. The breakfast was wonderful: waffles, fruit, yogurt, even eggs. In the afternoon, there were fresh-baked cookies! The hotel is also right next to... more

We were very pleased with our stay at the Americ Inn. The manager's reception, room, employees, pool area, and breakfast were above what we were expecting. We'll defintely return. more

I was without a car for 24 hours on vacation and had to find a place to stay. Jim, the afternoon/evening host, gave me a very good rate (for a vacation hotel) and the day hosts stored my bags until my room was ready. The room was very clean, roomy, quiet, and comfortable. The breakfast was balanced (fruit, yogurt, waffles,... more

(1) A/C did not work properly and had a leak, dripping all night. (2) No Parking. I had to park at another establishment. (3) Loud guests in the lobby woke me up several times during the night (midnight through 3 am). Major problem was I had to call the front desk to quiet them down. (4) Not very clean. more
