I stayed at the Coach House, Room 1 at the end of the season. I was the only person at the Inn that night and had a wonderful experience. Thinking back to all the people who may have stayed in this historic building throughout the pas 150 years! I hope to repeat my visit soon.

We enjoyed our stay at coach house. We stayed in room 2, which was supposed to have a private deck, but were dissappointed to find out that it was "being repaired" and was not usable. Other than that, we were very satisfied. The room was nicely decorated and bathroom was small but nice. We were the only guests that day,... More

What a great b & b - such a wonderful and historic location. The buildings and grounds were so interesting - wish we had more time in mineral point. We stayed in room 1 at the Coach House. Lots of great history -art colony on grounds, common area fireplace, creaky staircase and general atmosphere were very authentic. So interesting. Kendall... More

I agree with most of the other reviewers: historic, quaint, and very artsy lodging. There is a main area or common room, but we didn't use it as we were just there for one night. The Shake Rag Alley is a 2-3 block walk to the main part of town, which is quaint although not very lively the Sunday before... More

If you want to experience an historic lodging, this place it the place to stay. An easy walk to the shopping district, Pendarvis, and Shake Rag Alley artisans, this intimate lodging will invigorate you with a wonderful night's sleep. We stayed in room 2 which has a tiny porch area with table and chairs so you have an ideal place... More

We arrived in town without a reservation but they had space and were very accommodating. Room #2 was charming and clean. Best of all they told us about an Irish concert that night right on Shake Rag Alley. It was so much fun! Very hospitable place with old world charm.

An interesting old place. Room #3 is a front room with a decent size bath. The room is basically a queen size bed and a chair. We had little interaction with staff. Not much to do at night in mid November in town. The board games in the common room were either for 3 or more people or missing items... More

My husband and I stayed in Room 2 of the Coach House (the room with access to the deck at the back of the building). Our room was charming and comfortable without being frilly. We especially enjoyed relaxing on the deck after walking around town and having dinner. It was a peaceful respite after a couple days of driving and... More

Stayed for a weekend in April 2012, in the middle room at the top of the stairs. The room with a small table and chairs outside it's separate entrance to the rear of the Coach House. Carla, the hostess, was so accomodating and very helpful whenever we had a request or question. The grounds are serene and lovely to stroll.... More

We stayed here our second night in town because there was no availability at the first place we had stayed. We stayed in room 3 which is a nice clean little room. The bathroom was a good size. We were a little spoiled after having stayed at Brewery Creek the night before and having a few more amenities - fireplace,... More
