We had a nice bed and the kids slept on a sofa sleeper. The pool and hot tub were well maintained. The only serious complaint we had, and others had, was the lighting in the pool area. It made everyone look yellow/blue lips, made out eyes hurt and we walked back to our room with a headache. Thank goodness however,... More

Not a place that I'd want to return. Only if I really needed a place to stay. Main Reasons: 1. Swimming pool/hot tub was cool & needed some heat. 2. Breakfast has a lot to be desired. It is located on the outer edge of town.

I stayed here 3 nights and to be honest i couldn't wait to leave. The staff were very nice and very helpful but the hotel needs a big renovation. The rooms are old and smell musty, the internet did not work well - disconnecting all the time. I went in the very cold season and there are no restaurants around... More

We stayed here the night before my Grandson's 9am graduation from UW-Platteville…..and so did a whole bunch of other people! I think the large group of people, all pretty much on the same schedule, overwhelmed the smallish breakfast area and we were unable to get any food before having to head for Platteville. The full house (at least it seemed... More

King Room was spacious, bedding was that of a three or four star hotel, and rates - especially considering that we had a whirlpool - are exceptional. Clean Indoor pool. Only drawbacks were the "hot" breakfast…"hot" being a waffle mix out of a dispenser that was not very good. However, continental breakfast did include usual complement of dry cereal, yogurt,... More

Just came back from a quick overnight stay while visiting the Cave of the Mounds area. Hotel was more than we expected. Clean! Pool and hot tub were just right temperatures (pool not freezing as many are & hot tub was hot but not boiling). Only suggestions would be for more hot breakfast items. Scrambled eggs would have been nice.... More

I stayed here on the coldest day in 2014. The motel was nice, however in the morning, I could smell gas and the receptionist said they were looking into a possible broken pipe. It was very strong in my room. Even though there was only 4-6 people in the entire motel, I am surprised they didn't ask us to evacuate.... More

Searched online and found this hotel on a road trip to Madison. It was on our way. It's a small town but this was a clean hotel. Had a king size bed in a large room. Breakfast was a typical warm continental type breakfast. Pleased with the price and accommodations.

I am the owner of Quilts by Barb and I host an annual quilt retreat (this is year eleven) each year. This is our 2nd year in Mineral Point and the staff are all above 5 stars to work with. They were very accommodating with me on Thursday evening and Friday for set up and all through the weekend. They... More

Our reservation at a B&B in Mineral Point got miss-booked so we ended up here in an emergency. It was slightly inconvenient since we had hoped to stay in town within walking distance of restaurants and galleries. The hotel is at the outskirts of town in a developing business/industrial park surrounded by cornfields. It is fairly basic but clean and... More
