I live in the neighborhood surrounding County Clare, own a business next door, and often frequent it for lunch or a Guinness. I had recently filled out a survey, and won a free night's stay. Our room was sweet...cozy, crisp in green and white, with a marvelously comfortable bed, and large whirlpool bath, My one criticism of the room was... More

We stayed here one night on a trip to see the China exhibit at the Milwaukee Art Museum. We were able to walk there from the Inn...a bonus! Plus we got discounted tickets to the Museum. We ate dinner in the Pub too and it was great comfort food...my husband had Shepard's Pie...yum!! The room was very nicely decorated and... More

We have stayed at County Clare numerous times and it is always an enjoyable experience. The rooms are comfortable and the inn and staff very hospitable. The restaurant and pub serves great food with excellant service. Truly a great value.

This is a lovely hotel with an Irish pub where patrons play Irish music on Friday nights. The rooms were large, clean and decorated like an Irish Inn. The bathrooms have a Jacuzzi ! Milwaukee is also a beautiful and interesting city. I plan to return to Milwaukee and stay at the County Clare Irish Inn and Pub again !

We stayed @ the County Clare on a Thursday. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly by the staff. The 2 homemade chocolate chip cookies given us were a nice touch. We were in a "snug" room which was ample space for 2 people and had all the amenities needed: hairdryer, coffee maker, whirlpool tub, walk in shower & separate area... More

I had read the reviews, and had very high expectations. The hotel and pub sounded so enticing and I was hoping it would remind me of travels through the English country-side 20+ years ago... County Clare DELIVERED. I couldn't ask for more. Room was great, staff was very friendly, dinners were authentic and excellent, and breckfast was terrific. I would... More

Great location. Well done, clean rooms that are charming and still have modern showers, tubs, and facilities. More (large) towels than I have ever seen in a B and B, or many hotels for that matter. The staff could not have been nicer or more accomadating. Service at the bar, restaurant, and made to order omelette breakfast was friendly and... More

I stay in Milwaukee approximately 50 nights a year on business. I recently messed up the dates on my reservation and found that my regular hotel was full. The staff at that hotel was very kind and helped me find an alternative accomodation and suggested The County Clare. What a treat that turned out to be. If you enjoy the... More

Great spot in Milwaukee. Allows you to walk to city festivals and lakefront. Rooms big, clean and very comfortable. Restaurant-pub environment clean, relaxing, good food and variety of beers. We loved our stay! Look forward to visiting again next year.

We stayed here for three nights while attending the Summer Fest Music Festival. We have stayed here once before. We arrived early(around 1:00 P.M.) and they allowed us to park our car in their lot and checked us in though we could not go to the room until after three. The room is clean and spacious with a whirlpool tub... More
