We stayed here for one night for our anniversary on a trip to visit my Brother. Pros: We found the bed to be very comfortable and appreciated the blackout curtains. Our excellent night sleep may have something to do with sleeping on an air mattress for the previous few nights. We enjoyed the free breakfast in the morning- the omelet... More

The Inn was clean, well kept up and very attractive and homey. We will stay here again when we visit our daughter. The only negative thing was that breakfast is suppose to be included. We went down to the dining room in the morning and one person was doing everything. He was making the food, omelets and french toast, as... More

We saw the "Sunday Romance" special on the web and decided to try it; what a surprisingly good experience it turned out to be! The guest room was clean and the bed comfortable, the breakfast was generous and delicious. The Sunday Romance package is a real bargain!

This charming hotel comes with the best restaraunt you could ask for. Breakfast is devine with made to order omlettes and a generous buffet of real food. Tables are solid wood, and the dining room is well appointed. You feel like you are in your grandmother's home in Ireland, or at least at the well loved pub near her home.... More

This was my wife and my first experience with a bed and breakfast. This establishment was fantastic. We usually stay at hotels, but this experience was a step up. For sure. It was a quick drive from Chicago, easy to find. The location was good for walking to near by food and attractions. We will come back SOON.

We attended a friend's wedding in Milwaukee and had the great fortune of booking a room at County Clare Inn. It's a boutique hotel, moderately priced, and associated with a delightful Irish Pub downstairs. Our room was so nicely appointed; more like a room you'd expect to find in an Irish B&B, including a four-poster bed. The room was not... More

We enjoyed our stay at County Clare - a very nice small hotel with excellent service and a good restaurant. It's in a beautiful residential area near the lakeshore and downtown. You can walk to Brady Street, the Museum of Art (a must!) and to the downtown trolley stop which takes you on a roundtrip for $1. Our room was... More

We have been visiting the County Clare for several years. We even went to Ireland on one of their trips and it was amazing. Great place for drinks, food and friendly atmosphere. Beautiful Rooms. Highly recommended.

The rooms are nice. The area is beautiful; I highly suggest walking the nearby blocks. Breakfast is fantastic with excellent service. Having a pint in the afternoon and dinner in the evening is must downstairs at the pub. Note to runners: Take your shoes! You are only a couple of blocks from an awesome shoreline run.
