Room was comfortable--not a lot of frills but perfectly fine as a unique home base for a Milwaukee weekend. The staff was super, accommodating our need to park before official check-in and helping us when our plans changed last minute. I loved being able to take my complimentary breakfast in the excellent Irish restaurant and pub each morning.

Perhaps the most romantic room I have ever stayed in and is perfect lodging for a couple. Please note, this is definitely not for for a girls week away or guys weekend. The shower opens into the room and there is a jacuzzi for two. Zero privacy so you better love the one you are with. Staff are friendly and... More

We've stayed at County Clare several times and we always have a fantastic time! This is a gorgeous Inn! The restaurant and pub are lovely with excellent food and a great pint of Guinness! The brunch is lovely as well. Most weekends they have live music and it's always a roaring good time!

pfffft.... don't bother going here... there is NO PARKING for the customers... what little parking there is for the hotel patrons is around back and only holds around 10 cars... the parking that is on the street is full constantly and you CAN'T find a spot... you can ride around and around for forever... it took us over 45 minutes... Stayed on a cold March weekend. Heat came up nicely in the room, the hot whirlpool took away any chill from outside. Brunch was good corned beef hash+ for the three of us. Bloody Mary was Wisconsin style - big, spicy, olives, potato, cheese, sausage, and a pickle - with a beer chaser. Sunday deal was great with a nightcap... More

We stayed at County Clare for a short get away. We booked a suite at a fairly reasonable rate. The temp outside was about 18. When we went into the room there was no heat on. It took a long time for the heater to warm the room up. The heater was hard to adjust and noisy. Did not have... More

If a trip to Ireland is not in the cards but you still want a taste of the Emerald Isle, then book a stay at the County Clare in Milwaukee. The County Clare is an older 3 story building that sits just off the Lake and just North of downtown, both are within walking distance (less than a mile). Rooms... More

Stayed here for a night after a Packers game and before flying out of Milwaukee the next day. We got there late and left early but was very impressed. After driving on horrible roads from Green Bay we got there and checked in. It was late on a Sunday so we decided to eat at the pub instead of exploring... More

We loved our time at the County Clare -- the cozy "snug" room was plenty spacious, with Jacuzzi tub and queen bed. We decided to bring our drinks up to our room and enjoy a night in. We were towards the end of a 30 day road trip, this was a perfect place to kick back for a night. Amazing... More
