Very unusual place to stay in! A little bit overpriced considering the ongoing constructions, but depends what you are looking for. Very clean, spacious, with nice complimentary breakfast. No problems with rooms, bathrooms, WiFi, TV, etc.

Stayed here for a little getaway in Milwaukee. Has to be the best historic hotel in Milwaukee. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean. Great views of the city from the 5th floor. An easy walk from hotel to restaurant areas and riverwalk.

Nice area and has a great bar and grill for lunch or dinner. Room was somewhat expensive for the value. Andrew at the front desk was great. Called to see how everything was and when we complained about the room being somewhat unclean he sent maid back to room and later gave us 5 beers in a bucket. Also knocked... More

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Walking distance to all the best of milwaukee. One block from pabst brewery venue. Great place to stay. Be sure to visit the second floor where the stained glass window and huge brewing kettles reside. Also, look in the gift shop for the "before" pictures to see how well they kept the original structure... More

This is the most unique hotel I have ever stayed in. The history and space are so interesting. The rooms are huge with the original "Carnegie" metal beams from the 1800's going through many of them. The staff and service was wonderful. The restaurant that is attached had awesome food. And although the hotel might seem off in its own... More

I stayed at this hotel while in town for Summerfest. It is not directly downtown, but close by-not walking distance but only a 5 minute Uber ride. The lobby is beautiful with a great historic feel. We had booked the One Bedroom King room and upon arrival were upgraded to the Two Bedroom Loft-thank you Fernando! These two girls much... More

Love this place! The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms are beautiful and unique. Free wi-fi that actually works was a major plus. It's a little bit off the beaten path but I used Uber to get around and never paid more than $10.00 to any of my destinations. I didn't try the free breakfast but the dining area... More

I would say this hotel is one of the coolest hotels downtown Milwaukee unfortunately since they have not built out this area there is literally nothing around the hotel to do or to eat. You would be much happier staying at the Marriott or the residence Inn down the street since it is walking distance to the third Ward.

Dear Weho_Hodge: Thank you for being our guest. I hope that we can regain your business and give the area another try in the near future. We are only a few short blocks west of Old World Third and Water Streets where Milwaukee's main downtown nightlife and attractions are nestled. We also have several features that other area hotels do... More

If you're sick of the standard boring hotels, go to Brewhouse. Beautiful and full of cool historical touches. If you're looking for something RIGHT downtown however, this might not be the one you want, as its about a 5 minute drive away. All of the staff we came in contact with were super. Fernando even upgraded us to a loft... More

Dear sweege84: Thank you for your wonderful review! Deeply sorry about the housekeeping shortcomings in your suite. We're in the process of adding more forks to our suites and we continue to develop our team members to the highest standards possible. It's feedback like yours that helps us improve. It would be an honor to have you as our guest... More
