This is not a cute little boutique hotel as the website would have you believe. It is an old economy hotel. Everything in it has seen better days. The walls are so paper thin you can hear EVERYTHING in the adjacent room, even normal conversation. And plan to be awakened every time a door in the hallway opens or closes,... More

The whole place smells like smoke. Apparently 'mold is the new grout' in the shower. It said newly remodeled. They meant to say new countertops. We had 2 doubles thankfully, one had stuff on the sheets. If it was not next door to the concert we were attending I would have checked out. The hotel was booked.

Well, where does one start. Let's start with the walls being paper thin, oh no that was just because there were kids there having a party. They had two rooms across from each other and were partying all night. We had to call down to the front desk over 3 times and then they were finally kicked out. But, they... More

I traveled to Milwaukee for business, and stayed here as an on-the-cheap solution, booked through Orbitz. I arrived late at night. The door was locked, and there was a sign indicating that I would have to check in across the street at the Ambassador Hotel. I was cold and tired so I thought this was inconvenient. It was snowing so... More

Our stay at the Ambassador Inn was a pleasant surprise considering all the negative reviews that were written. It is not a 5 star hotel but for the price it's a real bargain. The front desk employees were friendly, helpful & met our needs perfectly. The room was clean & attended to by housekeeping every day very well. We were... More

I stayed here because it was next to The Rave and I was in town for a concert. Perfect location! 2 short miles from here to the lakeshore, passing Grand Avenue mall, museums, Riverwalk and the Public Market along the way. We had a little diffculty with the shuttle, but that is only complaint.

Highlight: Really nice beds Lowlights: No closet....not even a coat rack.....NOT EVEN A HOOK ON THE WALL TO HANG MY SUIT!!! Noisy air conditioner that shuts off when room is unoccupied. That means returning to a room where the temperature is over 80. Very unappealing lobby. Was this hotel a former YMCA?? No one on duty in the lobby at... More

Was hoodwinked into staying at the Ambassador in Milwaukee for a business trip. Hyatt was booked so, got stuck here. First off, location is a tad on the seedy side. There were two guys standing around at all times in front of the place that eventually came to find out were waiting for their lady friend to finish her "business"... More

The Ambassador Inn was a great choice for my friends and I as we were looking for a place in the city that wouldn't break the bank and we didn't want to stay in the suburbs. I liked the rooms a lot and the bed was super comfy, but the lobby and the building itself is nothing to write home... More
