After checking in to our whirlpool sweet for Valentine's Day, my girlfriend and I decided to get dinner at Envoy within the hotel. Shortly after eating, she came down with food poisoning which resulted in her spending more time in the bathroom than at the concert she went to see that night. Upon returning to the hotel, we informed the... More

We drove in from out of state to catch a show across the street from the hotel. The neighborhood is scary, ghetto. So we didn't want to leave the hotel and were only in town for 15 hours. At first the room looked nice. Then we noticed the bathroom door doesn't latch when closed. Old hotel quirks. And then the... More

my stay was not bad, it was an average stay just like any other. except the prices were kind of high for a hotel that does not offer any hot tub use and also did not offer any type of complimentary breakfast!!

This hotel is a little out of the way, but makes up in charm and convenience. The room was comfortable. The only downside was the shower didn't have enough pressure. There is a coffee shop, bar and restaurant in the hotel. Parking is available in a garage for $20.00 per day. One really nice perk is shuttle service to were ever... More

The hotel was great. Everyone was really friendly and went over the top to make sure we were comfortable. The room was big and inviting and very bright. The bed was comfortable and everything was really clean.

The welcome is warm and friendly at the Ambassador and the art decor interior helps to build the ambience of this historic building. The rooms are comfortable and the staff accommodating. Whilst the location isn't exactly downtown the free hotel shuttle is manned by Sam who is more than happy to offer you an informative and pleasant ride to your... More

This was my second stay at the Ambassador. Each stay was associated with a conference held at Marquette University. I'm sure there is some relationship between the University and the hotel...but, I'm glad that relationship exists. This is an historic hotel that has been lovingly restored. My room was spacious and comfortable. Dining at the Envoy was a treat (they... More

We always stay at the Ambassador when we go to a show at the Rave. We're never disappointed with our time there. Breakfast at the Envoy is always good and the staff at the hotel is friendly and helpful.
