This is a uniquely designed Residence Inn, but has all the normal services and attributes. The location is great if you need to be near downtown. Lots of restaurants w/in walking distance. You can also get to the mall and many other places w/out going outside, through the mall skywalk system (a bonus when it's cold and snowing). Staff was... More

I was in town for continuing education training at the UWM site downtown. UWM has the top 2 floors of the building across the street (there are signs directing you to your destination). The Residence Inn is connected via a completely enclosed skywalk which you reach by walking up one flight of stone steps in the Lobby. At the top... More

This hotel was the old Marshall Fields store which they did an excellent job of remodeling into a hotel. Rooms are spacious with kitchens and living areas along with bedroom and bath. Beds are comfortable with very firm mattresses. Water pressure is good in shower. You can walk to many restaurants and hotel is connected to shopping. Riverwalk is also... More

Very close to downtown. Excellent view from the lakeside facing rooms (though if you are a very light sleeper like me, you may take time adjusting) Good breakfast and meals!!! The best part of the rooms was the lovely ceilings. It gave a feeling of freedom and comfort.

The Residence Inn is my first place to tell family to go to if they have never been to Milwaukee. Connected to Grand Ave Mall and walking distance to restaurants, theatre and local attractions. The rooms themselves are very nice. I recommend asking for a high floor facing the river. For entertainment you are right across the street from Mo's... More

This property has a good first impression with the lobby decor and attentive staff. The rooms have high ceilings and nice windows. The odor however was off and the furniture and carpet very worn. Love the location within walking distance to everywhere!

The physical plant, rooms, lobby, etc were all excellent. Big windows and high ceilings made for a grand feel to the room. Check in was efficient and friendly. Breakfast was less than mediocre, with a limited selection of the usual prefab foods. Jaques at the front desk, when asked to call a cab, simply did not do so until I... More

Comfortable beds, huge rooms, great staff, and good free meals! Right downtown and near the third ward, a long walk (or short bus ride) away from Brady St and the lakefront. Definitely one of my go-to hotels in Milwaukee. It's also off the small skyway system in Milwaukee, which is helpful in winter.

We chose this hotel for a post holiday family get together. The location was centrally located and within easy walking distance to the Third Ward, Public Market, Riverwalk, Marcus Center, etc. We were upgraded to a one bedroom; the rooms are spacious and clean and we enjoyed two story windows overlooking the river. Secure underground parking. Large and well appointed... More

I stayed at Residence Inn Milwaukee to attend a Green Bay Packers game and I had a great time there. It's an old classical building with spacious and furnished guestroom. There was a king size bed, a proper fridge (not a small one, as NYC branch), a cooktop, a microwave oven, a dishwasher, china, silverware, iron and some sofas. Well... More
