I originally picked aloft because it was the most competitive priced hotel within walking distance to downtown amenities. We effortlessly walked from here to the pabst theater without any issues. The Hotel seems to be meticulously maintained and the valet parking while expensive (23$ a night) is certainly worth it. The rooms are very modern chic and have a lot... More

Visited the Aloft on 3/23 to see the Milwaukee Admirals play at the Bradley Center. Came from the Chicago area. Valet and check-in staff were fast and efficient. Check-in staff explained fully the features and benefits of the hotel. Room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Check-out was equally as efficient and fast. Will stay here again on our next visit... Thought this was a hip urban hotel but turned out to be a college party place. Most of the guests were age 18-24. Rooms are pretty small and lots of noise in the hall from other rooms having party's. Lobby bar was just ok and no dining options, just snacks for sale. Most people had pizza delivered. There is nothing... More

I stayed here for 2 weeks in 2010 during summerfest, and a week in 2011 in the summer as well. The customer service and management are stellar! The location is next to perfect, you are located near downtown Milwaukee, Summerfest grounds, water street night life, brady street night life, north ave night life, oakland st nightlife, and 5 other ward's... Thank you for posting your experience with us! We hope to have you back for Summerfest this year, just a reminder to book early because the whole city fills up quickly during the Summer, especially around Summerfest! More

We stayed here for 2 nights leading up to NYE 2012 in a standard room overlooking the river. There was construction going on across the river that wasnt too noisy. It is in a good location in Milwaukee, very close to water st., bradley center, etc. The room and bathroom are very small compared to other hotels in Milwaukee. The... More

Thanks for taking the tie to share your review during your stay with us. Glad you enjoyed yourself and the city construction wasn't too bad during your visit. I am sorry that we were unable to recover your boot, I can understand how that is frustrating! More

We stayed for a Friday night due to a family party at the rentable old Pabst Brewery(fantastic), Had heard the Aloft could be a loud hotel, but we hadn't any problems with noise at night. My daughter has stayed here many times and enjoys the proximity to all the activities, as we did. It was clean, the bed comfortable, and... More

Couldn't beat the location for several activities planned with my family (public museum and a play a the Rep) - both easily within walking distance. Loved the hotel design and would stay here again. However, I'd ask for a different room than one on the courtyard side. Besides lacking in any privacy since you look out and see windows from... More

Thanks for taking the time to post a review. Glad that you enjoyed your time with the family here in Milwaukee, it sounds like you kept yourself busy with the different attractions around the city. I apologize about the noise from the DJ, something that we will definately take into consideration going forward. We hope to see you again the... More

Very cool lobby and bar, in an area of Milwaukee that is being redeveloped - a lot of hundred year old buildings with bars and restaurants, and not too far away from the old Pabst Brewery, which is closed, but the old brick architecture is still very beautiful under the years and years of dirt. So when I say redeveloped,... More

Thanks for writing about your experience. It sounds as if you got a corner rooms since it was a larger room. Typically, these corner rooms are bigger than the standard rooms. Unfortunately, that bridge does have a metal grate over it, something that the new bridge will not have, so you can see where we are excited to have that... More

Spent a getaway at Aloft with dinner out and a play. Very contemporary design -- I would call it casual chic. Nice interior colors and layout. The king room was comfortable. Had to keep the shades drawn for privacy since the windows faced at least 3 other rooms. Great shower! Room was not noise-proofed well -- lots of noise from... More

Nice hotel in the heart of everything, but the current construction on the bridge next to the hotel is inconvenient at the present time. Construction went until 9pm the nights we stayed. Rooms are nice, but a little small.

Thank you for reveiewing the hotel. Glad you enjoyed the hotel and concept while here with us in Milwaukee. You are right, depending on what the construction team is doing on the bridge, it can make it inconveinent during work hours. We will continue to work with the City of milwaukee and the bridge team to try to ensure the... More
