In town for a quick trip and stayed here. Hotel is in the process of becoming a Holiday Inn. Hotel staff was amazing very friendly and made me feel at home. Ate in the hotel's seafood restaurant overlooking the river and it was fantastic. Great food and great service. Nice size room and in nice condition. Great value for $99

We have stayed at the hotel many, many times under the Hilton name. It has recently been sold to the Holiday Inn chain and is in the state of switchover. The room that we occupied had not been redone yet. Although it was clean, it was in sorry need of remodel. The top two floors were being refurbished during our... More

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. It used to be a estHilton property. It is no longer. The biggest problem I see is they are doing a major renovation and we did not know until we arrived. I spoke with someone from maintenance who told me that there should be a notice about the renovation... More

Perhaps the worst night I ever spent in a hotel. Dilapidated structure that is under construction. It seems like they should just close it, finish the remodel and reopen it (or perhaps better yet, close it once and for all and be done with it). Rooms are dated, dingy and my particular room smelled mildewy. The toilet ran intermittently. The... More

I purchased the room through an online discount travel agency. When I was ready to check in, the hotel didn't have my name. I started to panic, but the gal at the front desk went above and beyond to contact the agency and get the issue straightened out. We we able to get our room after all and really appreciate... More

We used to love coming here when it was a Hilton property, but it remains under construction with dust and noise, narrow ground halls , understaffed, and a front desk that just says, " Sorry about that"! Definitely Not a value! We will be looking elsewhere , as this is evidence of things to come.

Milwaukee River Inn has an indoor pool and a small intimate 24-hour fitness center. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available in public areas and a computer station is located on site. There is a 24-hour business center on site. Dining options include a restaurant on property, however, there are plenty of options in the surrounding community including a select variety... More

While it's true one must overlook many things going on at the Milwaukee River Inn during remodeling, we experienced many good things also. The beds were clean and very comfortable. We found the staff to be polite and very helpful. The highlight of our stay was the bartender, Brian, who not only entertained us, but served our very delicious dinner... More

I made reservations in February for two rooms for the 4th of July weekend. At the time I made the reservations this was a Hilton property. We had stayed here before and loved it. A few weeks before our trip I went to my Hilton account to double check my reservations and saw that it had disappeared. I called the... More
