I had never stayed at a Doubletree before, and for the most part, it exceeded my expectations. I liked the way the front desk staff always said 'Hello' when you can in or out, especially since it meant they were keeping an eye on who was coming in or out. The front desk staff was helpful about how to get... more

Good and solid Doubletree. Rooms are very small with small bathrooms but clean and effecient. Breakfast buffet does not offer a vasy selection but fine. Parking is valet only but efficient. Many stay here for visiting Marquette University. We paid just under $100 which is a great value. more

I stayed here for a wedding, and the hotel was fairly nice, but the service was excellent. We had a problem with the hot water in the room, and someone came to fix it right away. We went downstairs to have breakfast while they worked (they have a nice little breakfast buffet that isn't too expensive; the restaurant was reasonably... more

I couldn't get enough of this place, it was very clean, spacious, the service was absolutely fantastic and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the location of the theater was great. If you're a walker, you're only a few blocks away from most 'must see locations' such as the Milwaukee Museum, theaters, and Lake Michigan and some great restaurants from... more

Doubletree in Milwaukee was a wonderful experience. I would say the staff was on target, much more than I can say about some Hotels costing 3 times as much. The shine of this facility comes not only from the clean rooms but the helpful folks who work here. Thank you more

My past stays in Double Trees have been very very good - so this one being just an above average hotel was a little disapointing. Rooms: Clean Smallish (What hotel was this in a previous life?) Nice soft bed Nice Linens Nice Shower Exterior: Looks "Days Innish" Small Drive Way (it was full I had to go around) Valet parking... more

Tried all travel sites to get a room in downtown Milwaukee July 20-22 but later found out the city was booked due to annual meeting of Northwestern Mutual Insurance. I was able to reserve a room online through the Doubletree website even though all the other sites showed no vacancies. I had to prepay with no option for refund or... more

Summary: Great location, nice rooms, would definitely stay at again. Pros: -Room furnishings are on the newer side and clean -walking distance or short cab ride from most Milwaukee attractions -decent gym with weights, elliptical, and treadmill -valet parking costs only $12/day Cons: -no free parking available more

This was our second year traveling to Milwaukee for a conference at the Midwest Airlines Center, and the Doubletree will be where we return next year! Extremely convenient to the center (kitty corner) and only a two block walk to the Milwaukee Theater and US Cellular arena made this location extremely practical. Newly redone, the beds are HEAVENLY soft and... more
