This hotel needs to be rebuilt with thicker and stronger walls! Our bed shook at 3am from the couple next door having sex! The wall actually moved if you simply pressed on it!!!! It was a horrible experience and the hotel staff did nothing to rectify it other than tell us the couple next door was checking out! We could... More

I read the reviews before I stayed here ; didnt' know what to expect. I got into Milwaukee at 8 AM and called the hotel during my $26 - 15 minute cab ride from the airport. They were ready to check me in on arrival. When I checked in there was a woman (who had changed rooms 3 times!) complaining... More

I couldn't disagree more with the last post. The Hotel Metro is far and away the best hotel in Milwaukee. The service is excellent and the decor is amazing. I travel frequently for business and while I stay at the Metro mainly on trips for pleasure, I can say definitively that the Metro is one of the cleanest must well... More

We were ver y disappointed in our stay at the Hotel Metro. They told us they had a "two night stay minimum" so we were forced to spend two nights there. The room decor was awful (a partial wall separated the living room from the bedroom). The first night, we couldn't sleep because our room was directly above the bar.... More

We visit Milwaukee a fair amount because my husband has business there. We stayed at the Hotel Metro in downtown Milwaukee this last time. Very pleased. Location is right downtown where all the action is. It's right next door to the fancy Pfister, where I've seen famous people every time we've stayed there. (James Earl Jones, Rod Stewart, etc.) But... More

My DH and I stayed at the Metro on September 22, 2006, based on reviews found in the forum here. We got the "Wine and Dine" package with the Spa Suite. It could not have been more perfect. We saved money on getting the package which included dinner reservations (the atmosphere, service, and food were beyond excellent), bottle of wine... More

First, I always try to book directly because if there is a problem, the hotel seems to be more helpful. In this case Orbitz offered a significantly lower rate, so I took that. Oh well. I had stayed a few years ago, and the property has since transferred ownership since then. We loved our room- it was spacious, quiet, and... More

This hotel is luxe and very nice. The bed and bathrooms are great. My husband and I stayed here a few nights before our wedding. The hotel knew this and sent us a bottle of champagne which was very nice. I loved having all the AVEDA toiletries to use since I am sensitive to chemical fragrances. We got a great... More

The location is great! Within walking distance to the water, outdoor dining and more. We checked in and the friendly person at the desk gladly upgraded our room upon our request (at no extra charge). Instead of a room with two double beds, they put us in a one bedroom + suite. The room had everything you need for a... More

I have stayed at the Hotel Metro many times over the past year. This last stay (4 nights) was the last straw. The beds are terrible. Hard mattresses where the center hammocks and the springs are pushing against your body. No pillowtop. Just a thin mattress protector. The pillows are cheap, too. You can't fluff them up or reshape them.... More
