Everything was perfect! The hotel was walking distance to restaurants and nightlife and a great balance of trendy and classic. more

My husband and I traveled to the Intercontinental for a night away from the baby. We self-parked in the attatched parking garage and had no trouble. The woman checking us in was extremely polite. The hotel and our room were very "modern". I LOVED the location of this hotel. Within walking distance of tons of yummy restaurants, many attractions, and... more

Milwaukee may not be a great tourist destination, but as Mahler's 8th symphony was on, it was our destination. The hotel staff when we checked in were very attentive and made reservations for us at the hotel restaurant the following evening. The food was excellent and the wine was on a special of 50% off was also very good. At... more

We celebrated our five year anniversary and had a bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries waiting for us in our room. I think the front desk associate who handled us was Courtney. She was really nice and called a restaurant for us to make reservations and let them know we were celebrating our anniversary. The decor of the hotel... more

They really need to do some improvement at this location. Ranked # 4, seriously? The staff was not friendly by any means, the place looked nice from afar, but closer inspection showed many flaws. Spots on carpets, dirty sheets and bathrooms were not the up to par. I was here with some clients for work and was actually embarrassed. I... more

The only negative was we didn't request a refrigerator for the room, everything else was top notch. Some friends stayed at the nearby Astor the same night, and I heard a few horror stories from them. The InterContinental is my first choice for a hotel downtown, no questions asked. more

Been here before about 2 years earlier, hotel still looks new. Got a great F&F rate so it makes it even nicer! Location cannot be any better as its literally on one of the main downtown streets right in a central location. Its right on Riverwalk too which was excellent for a night walk after dinner! Hotel is attached to... more

I stayed at the InterContinental Hotel in downtown Milwaukee for a trip of leisure. Overall I found the hotel nice and would probably stay there again. We checked in late and the woman at the desk was not super friendly but the person there in the morning and everyone else in the hotel was great so I think she was... more

Perfect hotel for someone who cannot stand filth. The hotel was very clean and quiet. Bed was quite comfortable. Only complaint is the shower had an access panel that was rusty and chipped. Nice workout room. I would return to this hotel. Staff was friendly. more
