This grande dame hotel feels very European. The public spaces are magnificent in a true Belle Epoque style. My room had an amazingly bad view of the garbage bins in the back of the hotel but the room itself was large, well-equipped and comfortable. Enjoyed my breakfasts in the hotel and one morning I ate just a few feet away... More

Thank you very much for staying with us! I am sorry the view from your room of the surrounding city sections was less than you had hoped - we are blessed with a downtown location and also offer many rooms with great views of Lake Michigan. I look forward to showcasing these to you on a future visit. Also appreciate... More

We stayed at the Pfister for one night to attend a performance at the Pabst Theater. We wanted a place that was walking distance. We had a package that included valet parking and breakfast for 2 in the morning. When we checked in they told us we were upgraded to the Presidential Wing on the 22nd floor...wow. The bed was... I hope you enjoyed the Pabst Theater as much as I do! The walking distance location to such an iconic theater is one of our true assets. I am sorry the pool water was cool, and we strive to electronically maintain our pool at 82 degrees. I will be sure to have our equipment checked to have a warm pool... More

We came from St. Louis to watch the Cardinals play the Brewers in April 2010, and this was our first trip to Milwaukee. We were delighted in our choice to stay at the Pfister. This hotel is a gorgeous historic building that is meticulously maintained. The lobby is breath-taking. The rooms were very nice, and tied in with the historical... More

My husband and I bought tickets last year to see Gomez in Milwaukee. My parents had previously stayed at the Pfister and loved it, so I tried to get a room. They were offering a weekend "romance" special that included free parking and breakfast for one morning - so I went ahead and booked it. When we arrived, the hotel... More

The rooms are beautifully finished and luxuriously equipped, especially for an older hotel. Maintenance is better than first class. Every person we encountered was friendly and as helpful as could be. The hotel is close to many fine restaurants, and several very fun bar/entertainment areas of Milwaukee, which is a very reasonably priced city. The hotel is also close to... More

I live in Chicago but I frequent Milwaukee often and have stayed at several different hotels, as well as private clubs but I keep returning to the Pfister. The hotel is beautiful, located within walking distance to the art museum, lakefront, as well as the Third Ward. Rose, at the Well Spa, gives amazing massages. We have great times entertaining... We attended a convention housed by this hotel. Our rates were very reasonable. What was so striking about this facility was its ambiance. Restored a while back (how far I'm not sure), every effort was made to preserve the classic features of its by-gone era, yet provide the most modern conveniences that the structural limits would allow. Ornate hardware and... More

I had the opportunity to visit the Pfister. I have always wanted to visit but the price was more than I could justify for business. I was able to get a great rate and the stay and experience were wonderful! I had the opporunity to tour their Artist in Residence Progam with Reggie Baylor and also learned about the many... More

The Pfister combines historic elegance with friendly, knowledgable service in a comfortable old world atmosphere. It's staff works hard to make your stay as comfortable as possible. I find it hard to leave the hotel when staying there.
