Number one, I travel a lot for business, this hotel has the best lobby bar ever. It is beautiful, and Jeff makes a great dirty martini with hand stuffed bleu cheese olives. The rooms are comfortable and the staff is top-notch. I attend a business function at this hotel every April. I look forward to it every year! Christopher, in... More

My husband and I stayed at the Pfister for our one year wedding anniversary. The hotel was beautiful and the staff was extremely friendly. After Heather at the front desk inquired into the reason for our visit and we informed her it was our anniversary, she offered a free upgrade to a suite for the occasion. We walked around downtown... We stayed at the Pfister while visiting our daughter during the Christmas holiday. What a beautiful job they do decorating the place. The rooms are pretty, comfortable bed and lovely bathrooms.

After two years of colleagues telling me "if you ever go to Milwaukee, you must stay at the Pfister" ... I finally pull the trigger for my mom's birthday. The hotel is in a wonderful location, the staff is over the top accommodating (thank you Elizabeth for the extra special gift / birthday note for my mom), the rooms maintain... More

The Pfister is an outstanding, but generally pricey, hotel in downtown Milwaukee. One can occasionally find good deals. We found it a great place to park the car and take in a number of attractions on foot. The staff went out of their way to remedy a minor issue, and were extremely courteous. This is a beautiful old building, and... More

We typically stay at the Pfister when we visit Milwaukee due to its location and because we know what to expect. However, if you are deciding if it is worth the money, it isn't. You can experience the history of the hotel by visiting and enjoying a cocktail in the lounge. The "history" of the hotel rooms is one of... More

It's not a five star hotel, there are non in Milwaukee, but it is as close you can get from a four star hotel. The lobby has a beautiful ceiling. Make sure you stop by Blue (bar) on the last floor to enjoy views from downtown and the lake. Mason Street Grill is fairly good steak house down by the... More

I live in the Milwaukee area, and actually worked at the Pfister when I was in college. I stayed there a week ago in order to avoid a late drive home after a convention. I was pleased to see that it is still in terrific shape, customer service is excellent, and my room was absolutely lovely. Really the only place... More

Receptionists great you as a friend and when you leave you feel that they are sad you are leaving.
